Official check-in time is 4 pm, but if they can get you into a room earlier they will.
If you check in early, they will store your luggage and get you a hotel ID card which you can use in the parks. And, yes, you can use the pool. They'll even let you change in the Fitness Center if you need to.
I think you'll enjoy the Hard Rock. It's a fun hotel.

You can check in as early as 7 am for your keys. Most of the time, your room isn't ready until 4 pm. Out of all the times I've been at PBH, my room has been ready only once at 7 am.

We have always had amazing luck with early check-in's. It's worth a shot! Good Luck:)

Yes, you can use the facilities on the day of check-out. Plus you also will have the FOTL access at the parks.

When it comes to swimming the pool leaves a little to be desired. If you are a serious swimmer, this pool is not for you. I regretfully didn't try the Portfino's pool but I will next time. The HRH pool is 4 feet at the deepest end! Its really more for relaxing than swimming. I enjoyed my stay at HRH this past August but was a little dissapointed with the shallow waters. But I really LOVED this hotel!! I'm going back now in December and I'm going to try Portofino's pool. Have a great trip.
