If Deathly Hallows ends with someone sending Hermione an owl asking her when she's gonna pick Crookshanks up from the petsitter, I'm going to die laughing.

:rotfl:

I love that I'm not the only grown adult who enjoys these books.

OK. I just found your trip report today (at work...shhhh) & I just finished it (tonight, WAY past bedtime...), & I just have to tell you that you made me laugh out loud several times :rotfl2: & I even got misty-eyed a few times at some of your family photos (the one of your DH & DD is priceless, I tell you!).

Anyway, I really started reading your TR b/c of the Incredibles in your title. My family, too, are the Incredibles! (Well, except "Jack Jack" is actually a large teddy bear...) We wore matching Incredibles shirts to MGM last year, & got so much attention! I did it (like you) for a great Christmas card. And what I got was awesome! My family, in Incredibles shirts, with Mr. AND Mrs. Incredible, & the card read "Have an Incredible Holiday!" And I (like you) hope to make a Christmas card photo during our upcoming cruise (fingers crossed...DS is in that looking weird stage in photos...).

You're a fantabulous writer! Loved it! :thumbsup2

I absolutely LOVED your trip report! When I read the part about you and your friend spending the evening out at Shutter's, I ROFLMAO! I read it aloud to my husband who said, "That sounds just like something YOU would do!" I then forwarded it to my best friend, who's cruising in the cabin next to us next year, and she agreed that it sounded just like us. :)

Thanks for a marvelous report! I wish I had been there WITH you!

Hello everyone. If there is anyone out there that may remember us, I just wanted to say that I put a deposit down today on another 7 night cruise. We are going on the Jan. 24th Western...the one that's 4 months away!! :rotfl2:

Our neighbors are booked on that cruise and the kids have been begging and begging and well...you know how that goes. Twist my arm and here we are planning another cruise vacation. It's only money, right? The economy is in the sh*tter but here we are planning the most expensive vacation of our lives

Kevin who is now 6 has promised he'll go in the kids club and go down the Mickey slide ;) ...but the rest of us know the truth! Chuck has agreed to the whole thing and denies my description that cruising for him is like childbirth...give it 2 years and you forget what it's like.

Anyway, that's our news, just thought I'd share.

Hey Teresa,

You guys will have a great time! I would love a Double Dip but oh well. I still can't believe I put a deposit down today. I think I'm in sticker shock. But I booked the air so it's too late now!!

How is Rebecca doing? We are all good here. Busier than ever. Steph just turned 11 and is still playing travel softball, Tommy is 8 1/2 and still playing pee wee football and Kevin is 6 and still...well, Kevin! We run around like lunatics so I'm looking forward to a little R & R. Hopefully I'll get some.

Looking forward to rejoining the boards here. It's been awhile.

Wow Linda - I can't believe you got Chuck to agree to another cruise! I'm sure you guys will have a great time. Are you going with the Boots again or someone different?

We did an Eastern this past spring break. I really wanted to do the t-giving double dip, but Alison got that cruise-a-tude last time I took her out of school, so we decided to do spring break so she wouldn't miss any school.

We re-booked a dummy date while on board this past spring. Not sure if we'll transfer it to spring break 2010 or the expected to be announced Baltic or Mediterranean cruise summer of 2010.

Take care, and I look forward to another great trip report!

Nancy

Hi Nancy,

I love the cruise-a-tude term. My kids did OK last time we pulled them out of school and with Steph going to Jr. High next year, I felt this was the last time we could pull them out. With sports and tax season, there's only a few weeks per year we can choose to go away. Who would have thought that an 8 year old football team can take over your life?

We are not going with the Boots...they are actually going away this week. We are cruising with my neighbors and friends of theirs. Should make for some good stories!

I wish we booked onboard like you did. But back 2 years ago, we couldn't have laid out that cash. And boy are we paying for it now :scared1:
