OK, I may be burning down some cities now!
We just got letters in the mail from the passport office with a returned check because the post office (where we submitted the application for our kids' passports) had us write a check for *too much* money (calculated wrong by the post office lady)! We paid extra for expedited passports just to ENSURE that we would get the passports in time for our trip...that was back on 3/18. It is possible that because of that dimwit at the post office...we might not get their passports in time.
Almost our ENTIRE trip has already been paid for.
OMG, OMG, OMG. I am not one to normally freak out. BUT I AM PRETTY CLOSE HERE!!!!!!!
Kit, hope it works out!! Waiting for an update...

Thanks Be and Bella...
Keep good thoughts for us. We sent the new checks out yesterday via priority mail, so they will have them on Monday. We will just have to keep our fingers crossed that the State Department moves quickly. The other problem is that we are county out here and not city...which means rural route, which means our mail gets screwed up all the time. :sad2: We will follow up as often as possible. I hope everything falls into place.
I'm TRYING to remain optomistic.
All this because we overpaid by $10 per kid...they could have just kept the extra money as far as I'm concerned!
<Big sigh>

What Disneyland Attraction Are You? (http://quizilla.com/users/serogi/quizzes/What%20Disneyland%20attraction%20are%20you%3F/)
Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin: a wild ride through the back alleys of toontown! The only ride with a PG sense of humour in the G rated world of Disneyland, you are zany, wild, and a little bit of a loose screw. Energetic and colorful, you go at full speed, even though your taxi-car vehicles actually have four flat tires! Despite your older humor, you are a kid at heart and kids most relate to your cartoony world and like you the best. You've been know to make the adults a little queasy and a litte bit dizzy. You leave your visitors dazed, a little confused, but more often, extremely amused. You take us to the places we'd never see in a ride featuring the straight-laced Mickey, but somehow you're still all Disney.

The trick (for me at least, pathetic at the Jungle Cruise), was to focus NOT on taking pictures, but JUST on making it through the cruise without hitting anything.
Tips, from someone who stinks at Jungle Cruise, and just wanted the 30k:
- never use the move forward fast key
- on the 1st pass through, you barely EVER have to move left or right
- on the 1st pass through, you DON'T need to use the move back key
- bottom line: on the 1st pass through, you barely have to move the boat at all
On subsequent passes through
- use the MINIMUM of left and right to avoid rocks, and don't try to do any fancy moving to get hard-to-reach stuff
- when you DO need to actually move the boat, just tap the movement key (don't press and hold it), so you just move a tiny bit to avoid the rock
- when you get to the right side of the screen, tap the back key to avoid leaving the screen until the animals stop appearing
Avoid hitting things, and you can miss plenty of animal pictures, and still make 30k easily. So don't focus on picture taking, if your only goal is 30k.
lol You're not the only one. I'm still trying to finish that silly Inner Space quest. Darned those 30,000 points and Jungle Cruise. Don't they know I'm only *really* good at crashing boats?

"it's a small world": The happiest cruise that ever sailed! Surreal and silly, or sweat and touching, you are a well intentioned 1960s homage to the world's diversity that unfortunatly inspires feelings of sheer terror in those who can't help but feel something more sinister lays beneath your shiney surface. But most cannot deny your charm, even if they cannot explain it, and leave feeling better than when they entered. Most overlook the fact that because of your unique style and design, courtesy of Disney Legend Mary Blair, you are a true work of art and you deserve to be appreciated. You are both worldy and simplistic, both cosmopolitan and decidedly middle American. You are a splendid candy-coated contradiction with a sugary, sunny song that one never forgets. If the world truely listened to your never-ending optimism, it could be a small world after all.

The Mark Twain: A leisurely paddle steamboat navigating the Rivers of America in the 19th Century! A venerable Disneyland institution, you date to opening day in 1955 and respresent stablity, tradition, and a healthy dose of Americana. You never make your passengers seasick (in part due to the fact that you role along your secret underwater track) and always offer some great panoramic views of a Frontier mining town, New Orleans, and back woods glimpses of wildlife and injuns straight out of a Samuel Clemens tale! Small children and old folks like you best, but that doesn't mean you don't know how to get out and enjoy the nightlife, you play "Steamboat Willie" in the nightly production of the Fantasmic! Spectacular. Just one question, just how is that you are always managing to be headed "down river"?

Here is something I found on the Theme Parks Board. lol. As I finished reading this, my face was so red from laughing so hard.
We were on EEA (Universe of Energy) on Saturday, April 15th and had a "JUMPER" in the row right in front of us! This was a first for us in almost 20 years of WDW vacations.
We were sitting in the second row of the "travelling theater car" to the far left. A family with 3 kids was in front of us. Despite the "keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times warning" one kid had her feet up on the front wall of the car and was dangling her flip flops from her shaking feet.
Before the theater cars started their journey into the "dino room" one of the girl's flip flops fell to the floor. Dad gets up and leans over the front of the vehicle to retrieve the flip flop. Not realizing that the floor of the theater is lower than the floor of the vehicle, he is precariously perched on the front wall of the car. From somewhere in the dark came "Sir, sit down! SIR! SIT DOWN!" Seems a CM is watching from a podium that you can not see in the dark.
The lights come up, but the film portion of the attraction continues. Dad is now berating child. Film stops and the doors to the the theater open. The CM tells guests to remain seated. There is silence for several minutes when the phone rings on the CM's podium. "It's the banker," I tell my kids. They laugh, understanding the reference to "Deal or No Deal." The CM says into the phone, "We have jumper. A man just tried to crawl over the front of the car."
Eventually they spun us back to our original position and made us leave. The attraction was then shut down for at least 30 minutes - all because of a flip flop and not keeping your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times!
Here is the link to the thread!

Too funny....reminds me of myself when I was about ten years old. Our parents took us to Palisades Amusement Park in NJ (gone now) and I thought I was such a brave girl to go on the coaster with my father...he was all happy to have someone go on it. The ride up was great...oh, look at the view Daddy!.....about 2 seconds later I was screaming to god to save me, help me, my father's arm came all the way around the back of my shoulders and had to pull me in as I was scrunching so far down in the seat he thought I was going out the side of the stinking thing!!
Uh....I never did recover from that!! Coasters are not my thing!

Hmm, reading these last few posts is making me re-think my plan to bring DD3.5yo on Goofy's Barnstormer in a few weeks...
My chicken boy of 6yo, decided that this was his favorite ride on our last trip. He had been on one other kiddie coaster at American Adventures and was terrified of them (the coaster at AA was small but very rough). I convinced him that Barnstormer would be a piece of cake because his 2yo little brother could even ride it. Needless to say, I felt like I was on an endless loop of riding it. My 2yo tollerated the non-stop rides well, but was ready to quit riding it after the first go round. As far as first coasters go, Barnstormer is a good start because it is smooth and short. A good test is whether or not your 3.5yo will ride POC or Malstrom without fear before you get her on Barnstormer. Have fun on your trip!

No, I doubt it. It's probably because your 8 year old doesn't melt into a screaming, Beastly, Ball of Fury when you say "NO"...
Have fun!! We are there May 3 - 8. When are you there?
May 7 - 12, but we'll be going with a family who has never, ever, been to WDW before (and with their two toddler to preschool aged kids as well).
I would've liked to have met up with more DIS people while down there (DoomCookie / Taryn and the Capes will intersect, and I think Califgirl will be there at the same time, and ElectricLime lives down there too; Jellyrolls / TLinden is clearly trying to do everything she can to avoid me, by arriving the day after we leave), but I don't know that any kind of schedule will be at all under my control, so I just don't know...
Of course, you could always just look for the wild-eyed, desperate, near-the-end-of-his-rope daddy, going around and around on Small World, mumbling incoherently something about "Must kill the dolls... Kill... Burn..." How's that for a DIS meet?

I was on a trip with some friends and my best friend Leah loves to prank call people. (We were playing this game and there were four girls, and six boys. Us four girls ( Abbie- me- Laurie, Leah, and Nikki ) we all got "married" to a boy.)
This is where the funny part comes.
My friend Leah had four kids. Anna, Leondray, Devontay, and Juicy Jr. But Anna got sat on by some girl we all four don't like. So now she only has three. We all wanted to call someone. Do my friend called someone we don't know. Hence the name " Prank call". Anyway, she calls this lady and she was like " can you come drop off Juicy Jr. now?"
The lady was like " Who?"
Leah, " Juicy Jr.!! "
the lady... " You have the wrong number!!"
So leah yelled in the backround, " WHERE IS JUICY JR.??!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Then Leah was like...
" Your stupid Shut up!" and she slammed the cell shut. We all laughed for hours. it was hilarious.

I had the worst dream that someone could EVER have last night!!!!!
It was early this morning (like all dreams are) and I was dreaming I was in WDW!!!! We were walking all around the Magic Kingdom and were just about to go ride the HM and I was so excited because I have not been on that ride for a long time, and then I woke up!!!! I was so upset this morning, it felt like I was REALLY there. It was so depressing knowing that I had to get up and go to school and that there are still 76 more days until we go to WDW this summer.
Like I said, this has got to be the WORST dream a person can have when s/he is so far from going to WDW again! LOL

NOOOO!
"ABC Impeaches 'Commander In Chief'
Show pulled for remainder of sweeps; no airdate for remaining episodes
The Allen administration, which started off with such promise, is coming to a rather ignominious end.
ABC has yanked its freshman drama "Commander In Chief" from the schedule for the rest of May sweeps after the show performed poorly in its new, and exceedingly difficult, Thursday time period. Newsmagazine "Primetime" will take its place at 10 p.m. ET Thursdays for the remaining three weeks of the season."
This is / was such a great show! Why do they air the junk and cancel the good stuff?!?! Come on ABC - give us back Mac!

OK, it's an hour and a half from departure to WDW -- woohoo!
The Double Stroller of Pain has been assembled, not without use of language prohibited from the Dis Boards. I'm still really hoping that the washer and cotter pin left over are not required for structural integrity.
Of course, true to form, I'm not _quite_ done packing yet. After all, there's still plenty of time.
Where are those park passes again? Do we really need boarding passes for the plane?

- Sleeping Beauty's Castle (http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1642428)

There are also some pics that depict the Peoplemover and some other attractions. I have no idea what event it's from, but it's well-done.

These were awesome.
I haven't been online as much this week, because my computer is ate up with ad-ware. I have my anti-virus software running, firewall running, pop-up blocker running. I have run "ad-aware" and "spybot-search and destroy" and virus scans, and a couple of others over 50 times in the past few days, to no avail.
We took it in the computer shop and they "cleaned" it -ha-- that lasted about 3 days and the whole thing started over again.
At present the ads have stopped but as soon as I reboot the computer they start again, popping up an average of about 25 -30 ads an hour, then when I run "ad-aware" they stop until I reboot the computer again.

Oh yeah? Well MY dad had to watch movies my flipping through a stack of index cards.
(While walking to school barefoot through the snow, uphill both ways?)
Yeah, laser discs... Talk about the mistake of being on the "bleeding edge". They came out a few years before DVD's did. They were the size of LP's --oh, I guess you wouldn't know those either ;) -- and a single movie usually fit on about 3 or 4 discs, so you would have to swap them during the movie. And there were no menus / choices the way DVD's do. Yup, DVD's blew them away.
On the other hand, I have fond memories of figuring out how to get the AC3 (now Dolby Digital) 5.1 sound working in a brand new state-of-the-art home theatre system, and being SO impressed with true home surround sound...
(Then again, I also remember being SO impressed by Dolby Noise Reduction on casette tapes...)

It was very hard to get a hold of lol. We have the very original version with no editing or anything. I saw nothing, nothing at all, wrong with it. The movie also made me better appreciate Splash Mountain. Anyway, the movie was obtained through the internet...good ol' internet lol.
I honestly wonder what they did to change the film. What could they have possibly done? Make Uncle Remus sad and upset?
Okay, the film takes place during salvery. This boy, "white" boy goes down with his family to visit his grandmother. He finds out that his father is going back home for work and that his mother and he are staying to live with his grandmother. The kid gets upset and depressed. There are slaves on the plantation and among them are this littel boy (who soon becomes the "white" boy's good friend), and Uncle Remus, the best storyteller around. Every slave on that plantation is happy and well treated by the "white" family. They are all one big family. Uncle Remus helps the little boy become happy and content staying here even though he misses his father. Uncle Remus also helps the boy learn how to defend himself using his mind and not by fighting. The plot is very cute and sweet. I simply cannot comprehend WHY it was banned.
I strongly recommend this movie to anyone!

Okay so I go to wake up my son on Thursday morning and he is unconscious....rushed to the hospital. I realize that when I went into his room on Wednesday to say goodnight he is already asleep (not unusual considering he loves to push the envelope and sneak staying up late) and is making a snoring sound which is unusual. I push him over and he does not make a peep. The next day I realize that was unusual. Get to the hospital and they do all sorts of tests....we have no idea what is going on. They check for drugs (negative) they check for meningitus (one type negative waiting for the other), they do a cat scan, EEG and a chest x-ray (he mumbled that his chest hurt him). We request mono, lyme disease and believe it or not west nile virus as we have already seen mosquitos and he hangs out in a sump behind our house sometimes. The kid is totally oblivious to all of this. Spent most of the day in a disoriented state in PICU. Moved to a room on Friday with no recollection of Thursday at all. They dont know what it is and are still waiting for tests. White count is triple what is should be among other things. Tomorrow they are testing for the hepatisus'.
I will lose my mind if they cant find anything.
He is MUCH better today, he's been on two IV antibiotics and his white count is normal now. This is the first night I am home (husband is sleeping there tonight) and hopefully he will be home on Monday.
I cant believe this but thank God he is better.
Hope this post is not TOO much of a downer....this is just so surreal....

Hey Be...and friends.
Update is that he came home on Monday (although they wanted to keep him until Tuesday for more blood work). I need to get an MRI with and without contrast, a 24 hour EEG and a Cardiac check-up on him. The scheduling is mind boggling but he is okay (for now anyway). Back to driving me crazy with his teenageness.
They still do not know what happened but I did find out on the day he was released that he was, in fact, having a seizure when they brought him in. God help me, I cant get over the fact that I should have seen that something was not right when I put the kids to bed on Wednesday night.
He was probably seizing (is that a word?) ALL NIGHT LONG....
Thank you for your thoughts and well-wishes and hope to "see" you all soon.
We probably wont know anything until after the MRI at the very earliest which isnt even scheduled yet as I need to waiting for my insurance to approve it. (gotta love red-tape - if he wasnt so back to himself I would be a raving lunatic by now)

Hey Be...and friends.
Hey, that makes it sound like I'm not a friend! ;)
Anyhow, wow, scary doesn't begin to describe it, but I'm glad he's back to himself. Good luck with all the work-up...
Yes -- seizing is a word. And don't beat yourself up. Some seizures are really very subtle. Not all are the "grand mal" type, with all 4 extremities shaking; some are just tiny little tics. And with some, you can even remain conscious and alert (although his wasn't).
Again, good luck!

Even when the neurologists are asking for the contrast? That's ridiculous.
Before you get the non-contrast study done, make sure the neurologists know that insurance is NOT approving the contrast study -- if it's critically important to make the diagnosis, they'll fight the insurance company, and you'll avoid wasting your time getting a study that's not informative.
(And if they say "oh, we just request the with + without contrast automatically; it'll be just fine without the contrast", you can feel better about it)

Mint - Thanks for the update. I will continue to keep your family in my prayers.
Bezoar - Small World is starting to look pretty nice. This past weekend I talked my oldest into riding his first big people roller coaster with 5 loops (he will do almost anything for a funnel cake). I honnestly do not remember it being so rough. When I got off the first time, my head was killing be from being slammed around so much. So what do I do? We get back on it because he says he wants to ride it again. For some reason, I thought it would be better if I kept my head back - wrong! We were both screaming from pain on the second trip. And to top it all off, he tried to get me to ride it a thrid time - no way, nuh uh you crazy kid. After making a lot of excuses and feeling rather brave that day, I tempted fate by riding Goliath. I am sure the other riders had a grand laugh at my white knuckles.

Its so strange to hear that your son had a seizure! My neighbors daughter who is 12 just had the same thing happen. They say its due to low blood pressure.
I am sending some extra pixie dust left over from when my DS was so ill and the DISers gave me some. It worked like a charm. :) -hugs to you and your family-

I saw this in the movie threater when it was released in the 1970s or 1980s(??)

Just a couple of roller coaster tips from a not very tall person. First, if they ask you to remove your earrings, you can count on a head bashing. Second, you may be able to avoid some of the side to side bashing by standing up, forcing your shoulders to touch the tops of the shoulder restraints, when you go through any loops. Of course, that assumes you have a floor beneath you to press against.

Pay! You have no idea how much I wish I was!!! Every year for 10 years we leave down to Disney from Hartford...this year we are traveling further and leaving from Boston (Logan is farther from us than Bradley) . I like the small size of Bradley and just as I was overcoming my fear of flying, I think I may regain that initial fear to again be overcome. I do not like the idea of leaving from Boston at all. To be honest, it is the one part of the trip I don't like, I would feel SOOOO much better leaving from Hartford it isn't even funny! :guilty: lol

Notes to self:
1) if you are trying to get your almost 2 yo to perform in front of guests, singing the refrain to It's a Small World, it is not wise to use the words "hit it!!!" as the cue that she should start singing, unless you wish to be bashed in the face.
2) when choosing between the "banana boat ice cream sundae" vs. the "JUMBO banana boat ice cream sundae", the argument "it's only a $1.50 more for twice the ice cream!" is not a good reason, unless you want to have all the customers at the counter wondering who was dumb enough to get the monster sundae. Also, loudly saying "OH MY!!! THAT THING IS HUGE!!" when the nearly one foot tall monstrosity arrives at the table causes people to point and laugh loudly at you.
Corollary: it is very difficult for 2 adults who have just finished a large dinner to eat ~8-10 scoops of ice cream (with hot fudge, pineapple sauce, and strawberry topping, along with a lot of whipped cream, a pair of bananas, a tower of whipped cream, and a couple of cherries), without experiencing significant physical pain.

Well if smaller will help, you could always drive the extra half hour to Manchester, NH then fly from that airport. Heck, I'd even let you park your car at my house and would then drive you to the airport.

OK, I challenge anybody to find something, anything, geekier than this... (http://isnoop.net/blog/2006/05/20/macsaber-turn-your-mac-into-a-jedi-weapon/)
It takes your Mac laptop, and turns it into an elegant jedi weapon, from a more civilized time... Sort of...
Recent Mac laptops have a motion sensor. Somebody coupled that motion sensor to a light saber noise generator. Wave around your laptop, and make light saber noises. Cool!
Now that you've spent entirely too much money on your fancy sudden motion sensor equipped Mac laptop, I predict you'll soon be swinging it around like a loon.
Introducing MacSaber 1.0 Beta. Using your Mac’s sudden motion sensor, this software turns your computer into a Jedi weapon almost worthy of taking on the real thing by making authentic lightsaber sound effects. It senses speed for the lightsaber movement sounds and acceleration for different levels of striking sounds.
I wanna try it, but my laptop is too old...

Out of curiosity, anybody interested in playing boardgames?
I came across a site a week or two ago, ItsYourTurn.com (http://www.itsyourturn.com/welcome.html), which allows people to play boardgames with other people, over the internet. They have Backgammon, Chess, Checkers, Battleship, Connect 4, Othello, Pente, Go-Moku, and Scrabble, and variations as well.
The cool thing is that both players do NOT need to be logged in at the same time -- so, you can just make a move a day. Or, you could both be on at the same time and play a game in real-time. You can send PM's with each move, if you like, so people can use this as a way to keep in touch too.
Anyhow, it's free (to make up to 15 moves a day).
I'm partial to backgammon, because most of the other games make me think too much and make my brain hurt. Backgammon is good, because I can always blame the dice ;)
If anyone's interested, check it out and invite me (username 'bezoar' there) to a game. I look forward to getting my butt kicked :)
ps - I'd recommend that you NOT check out their message boards, which seem to be filled with a bunch of people flaming and cursing one another... Sort of why I'm not that excited about inviting random people _there_ to a game...

Hmm.. I will definitely check this out and get into a game with you. :woohoo: I absolutely love playing these games online with friends in real time. Sounds interesting to have the opportunity to not have to be available at the same time! That has been a hindrance many times.
(Backgammon and cribbage are my faves, and irl, before VMK, I even played in tournaments for either game, here and "down south" in CT.)
BTW :rotfl2: I totally agree with you, that the dice are to blame!!

I haven't quite figured this out yet, but I think that by default, anybody can see the games you are playing, and all the previous moves in the game. (Makes me a tiny bit embarrassed by the, uhh, creative Scrabble game I had before.) But, I think that if either player sets the preference that you CAN'T see the games, then maybe they are invisible.
Who knows, LOL. I'm just trying to find yet another way to waste a bit of time, and chat with people at the same time.
(Also, there are links to the rules of each of the different games, and the variants.)

Sending a request for prayers and pixie dust. It appears my sister's brain tumor is back. She should get the results of her MRI later this week. I am so worried about her, but she does not want to talk with anyone about it. I believe the prayers are what got her through it last time, so I would appreciate any that could be sent her way.
Big Hugs and prayers to you and your family.

Since when did you ever get the impression that I was an AM wannabe?
In the game right now, I'm running like the wind... But, if a certain duck leaves some tail feather pieces unprotected, I think I might just take a potshot or two...

I cannot stand it! 40 days left until we are at WDW and I am going crazy!!! We watched last summer's vacation video last night and it made me that more crazy to go!
It was SO much fun to watch. INSANE levels of laughter was had! I was the voiceover, or commentator *as I tapped the thing*, and I kept asking myself..."I said THAT!!?" lol.
The tape did undergo a misfortune however...before tapping Wishes later this night, we watched the video and stopped it half way. We tapped over the other half forgetting we had watched it lol. That caused us to lose A LOT of good stuff (that I am still kicking myself about losing).
Anyway, we have looked back at a great deal of pictures from WDW over the many years, watched this video, visit the Dis more often than ever, and listen to Disney music constantly. Some people think I am losing it lol, but if any of you know that kind of excitement I am talking about, you should know just how I feel...I am at that stage where I think, "I MUST go to Disney NOW!!"
40 days...40 days...tomorrow we are in the 30's...Oh Gosh!! 40 LONG days left!!! :crazy:

Being an old dude, AdioSkater, your signature quotes always make me remember the old days...
Like 6 months ago when I went to the "skatepark" here and was pulling off 180 rock-n-rolls on the mini-ramp (with all the recommended safety gear of course) and my front foot slipped off the front of the board in the flat section and I went -SLAM- head first followed by my knees. My body is still hurting in places I didn't know it could hurt after that fall.
Consequently, when the surf is flat in the future, I'll be sticking to mostly hill-riding and drive-way carving.
What's a 40+ dude with an old Peralta-esque surf-style to do?
I know, I know... kickturns in the flat. With full pads. And helmet. With no exposed skin preferrably, including fingers. Better yet, I'll just clean the old wax off my surfboard, repair my leash, watch surf and skate vids and paddle in the pool to keep these old shoulder joints loosened up.

I came across a site that does mean and nasty anagrams.
You give it up to 30 characters, and in a second or two, it'll return the harshest anagram it can come up with. Amusingly (well, at least to me), some of them end up being rather ironic. Others will be construed as offensive -- apologies in advance.
Here are some that I tried:
Disney
walt disney = Windy Tales.
disneyland = Dandy lines.
walt disney world = Tidy well-worn, sad.
mickey mouse = I'm OK scum eye.
cinderella = Clean, idler!
VMK
purpleduck = Pluck prude.
threeboysmom = My bothersome.
pinkgirlygrl = Grill pry king.
tigressjewel = Wit jeers legs.
briarlori = Rib or liar.
frontiersuzy = Zest or in fury.
silverstarfox = Six lover farts.
captain brain = Ban patrician.
doomcookie = Oi! Coke mood.
jellyrolls = Jelly rolls.
bezoar = "that's boring, say something more" (really)
Computers
apple macintosh = Laptop machines!
apple computers = Uppermost place.
windows computers = Now wiped scrotums.
microsoft windows = I'd wow conformists.

Came across a somewhat interesting concept:
- a bunch of preschoolers were asked to draw a favorite scene from Winnie the Pooh
- the resulting pictures were given to "up and coming" artists, who were asked to render the pictures in their own vision
Here are some of the resulting pairs of artwork (http://www.nineteeneightyeight.com/storybookshow.html)
Kind of interesting, I thought.

Anybody happen to catch Nick@Nite last night? Well, they were having this thing where the the shows at 10:00 PM EST would be all about summer vacations. Well, they might has well just say, the night of Disney episodes!

Then, Roseanne was on with the episode where they go to WDW!! Also an hour long.
I liked the Roseanne episode better, it was a lot funnier, and not as "sappy" as Full House.

This really happened to me the other day. It's so bad I thought I'd share it. Have a good laugh at my expense! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
The set up:
My friend just had both of her knees replaced (Please refrain from singing, "Be oblong and have your knees removed." I have resisted the urge so far. :rotfl2: ) I wanted to talk to her sister before visiting my friend to let her know I was going to buy the items my friend had requested. I couldn't reach her sister at home or on her cell phone so I assumed she was already on the road. My friend's sister usually calls when she is close to her destination so you know when to expect her to arrive.
What happened or you know you're getting old when...:
I was driving on the highway, listening to some loud music (not of the elevator sort, it was probably Gogol Bordello) when I heard my cell phone ringing. I figured it must be my friend's sister trying to reach me. I quickly turned down the music and began blindly groping around on the passenger seat for my cell phone so I could keep my eyes on the road. I don't know how long this took but suddenly I realized... I don't even have a cell phone! Not only that, I have NEVER had a cell phone! I think I've use a cell phone all of maybe twice! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
My husband insists I made this up but I didn't. Please excuse me while I search for my missing brain.
