Ok, so the first week of January I went to WDW with DH, DSis, Dbro, and Dmom and Ddad...we celebrated VegasMonarchs birthday on January 6th at Epcot where I surprised her and our family with an Amazing Race Family Style event set up for us by Gifts of A Lifetime. Wow! Let me tell you all that they were so awesome! We had so much fun the 2 hours we were running through our tasks that I don't think any of us were able to unscrew our smiles the entire day! :teeth:

I've seen the princess at Walmart, but I've never seen the toy story. Will have to look for them!
I haven't seen the Princess ones, but I have the Villains paper towels in my holder right now (and I'm stocked up on those :) ) and I also have a few rolls of the Toy Story ones. My kitchen is all Mickey, so, what I *really* need is Mickey paper towels, but I've never seen those.
Also, Tink, the Walmart near me in Brandon, carries Mickey Mouse CHEESE!!!
It's *so* cool. By Sargento, it's those shaped cheese snacks :) They laugh at me at work when I bring in my Mickey cheese (ok, so they laugh at me for all of my odd Disney habits - but whatever ;) )

What is a Sonic? Oceanwater?
Why Be, Sonic is an old-style drive in fast food joint. You can either use the drive through window and then someone will come out personally and deliver your food. Or you can pull into a parking space...order your food...and then someone will come out and deliver it. Basically Sonic is really good!!! :rotfl2:
As for Oceanwater....maybe Tishke can enlighten us on that :confused3
Personally I prefer pan seared Tilapia, spring peas and cornbread for dinner ;)

Did you know that when your 18 month old son starts digging in a drawer in the coffee table he will find all sorts of things?
Did you also know that if same son digging in same drawer spies a tube of bright red lipstick he will take it and bring it into a corner?
And did you know that while this son has the bright red lipstick in the corner he will open it and smush the lipstick in his hands?
And how about this did you know that this same son would then smear the same lipstick all over his body- mainly on his left leg, right arm and belly but that he will also get some on his face, in his hair and on the bottom of his feet- as well as the pillow he is sitting on?
And did you know it is almost impossible- well I would say it is impossible- to remove said lipstick from said 18 month old boy?
And that when you try to remove the lipstick in the bath tub everything ends up with lipstick on it?
And once you are done getting as much off as you can using baby oil and baby shampoo and baby wipes that your child will still have a nice pink tinge to the leg, arm, belly, hands, feet and face where the lipstick was?
And that baby oil doesn't come out of hair easy?
And that the mom of said baby who did said cleaning now has pink tinged finger nails and random spots on her hands and arms that even the strong stuff won't get rid of?
Oh and the best part yet- if said boy goes to day care and his father forgets to tell the teachers about his adventure the night before that the day care owner will call in a panic when they change his diaper for the first time and think that he must be having some sort of allergic reaction and are pausing in their emergency protocols only long enough to see if said little boy's parents knew anything about this before dialing 911 or rushing him off to the hospital to evaluate said lipstick stains?
No you didn't know about that?
Funny I'm now currently an expert in it if you should have anything happen similar to this. Of course this obviously runs in the family- oldest son at about same age got into super glue when he was naked (not going to go into what all he glued where or anything), oldest daughter at same age colored herself green with a marker (her birthday is St. Patrick's Day but that was extreme) she got her entire body and I'm still trying to figure out how she got her back so thoroughly covered with green, and youngest daughter did the same as her big sister except she used blue and stuck mostly to arms and face- and her cotton top blonde hair that was blue for a month afterwards...
As soon as my kids do something else remarkable I will post another did you know... of course if I did stories from my niece I could go on forever with things like this lol.

ROFL!!! Ok. I have to say, I really needed that bit of entertainment during what has become a very long and arduous day at work. I took a 2 minute break from the tedium of preparing the access lists for 21 different routers to check out the Dis and my Zeta sister has not failed to amuse me.
I know, not amusing on your end, but it really broke the Hades that has been my day :)
Thank you :)

Well Me, if it makes you feel any better....I did the exact same thing when I was about 3. Bright red lipstick everywhere....worst part was that I had my younger sister as my partner in crime. My mom had put us down for a nap (I was 3, my sister was a year and a half), and thought she might be able to run downstairs long enough to do a load of dishes. She returned to two very nude daughters, decorated to go to tribal council. We were covered head to toe (who knew one tube could do so much harm, or cover so much?) and we even managed to get it ground into the carpet :faint: We were scrubbed with everything imaginable, the only thing that seemed to work was Pond's cold Cream. So, we got clean only to smell like my grandmother. :rotfl: It took almost a week for our lovely red raccooon eyes to go away, but I have to say it is one of the stories that still gets told today :hyper2:

There is this guy at my school and his locker is right down the hall from mine. Yesterday, after I went to my locker and I passed him he started to walk my way but then his friend met up with him. Today I was talking to my friends and there he was again but this time he was looking right at me. Me and my friend walked away and went to another spot but then he came down the hall again. I mean don't get me wrong or anything he is cute. Anyways, after I left to go back to my locker I stopped to see another one of my friends and it was just down the hall a little from where he was. And when I turned around he was looking at me. It's kind of freaky but I do like him.

The seller, MouseSurplus, has probably one of the *coolest* places in the world. They are one of the 'official' liquidators for Disney. They have a huge warehouse about 30 minutes from WDW (on the way to OIA) and it's so cool.
I went there a few weeks ago with a friend of mine who is equally Disney crazed :) We got some of the coolest things. She bought an entire Contemporary room (yes, *all* of the furnishings to equip one room from before the Contemporary's refurb.) The picture I posted on here a while ago of the art from the Disney Magic (which now hangs over my bed) came from there. I also got the coolest bolt of cloth (75 yards) from AKL. It's a pattern of jungle print (stripes) With black mickey heads running in long stripes down it.
When you come for the Zeta grip, if you have a car, I *highly* recommend taking a few hours and driving over to check it out :) Your wallet will probably regret it. In their parking lot, they have an actual monorail car.

Now, for something totally random.
Does anyone else find these stupid geico gekko commercials annoying? Having to watch it once or twice a night wouldn't be so bad, but darned if they don't run the thing a zillion times a night. And while I love the Aussie accent, it *so* doesn't work on him.
Meh. I think it's time for one of those 'hug myself' sweaters...

OMG! my friend made an interesting yet strange and freaky point. You all know how I told you about that guy right? Well today was interesting because as I was walking down the hall someone took his hat and he started beating them up (like play fighting) and as I walked by him he looked up at me and then he started beating the guy again... like what normal guys do. Another time he was hurting another person/ play fighting when I was in the hall around him/ right by him and he never did look at me but after I left he stopped and looked at me. It's weird my friend said that he's just trying to be impressive/ manly.... AS IF!

Totally random: tonight, DW got some hard-boiled and uncooked eggs mixed up in the fridge, and wasn't sure how to figure out which was which.
I vaguely remembered there was an easy way to tell them apart. So, with DW and Beasts watching, I tried spinning them on the floor (oh great idea, play with eggs on the floor... I bet I'm going to regret that...)
It works! Hard boiled eggs can be spun like tops, and raw eggs don't.
Woot for me! (yeah, yeah, I know, both lame AND geeky)

I come from a football loving family. But you know what. We don't have cable. It's Dh's choice. Instead we have regular tv with a few channels. Only a couple come in good. Most others, however come in with snow. Nothing like watching the superbowl or any other show with snow bouncing around on the screen. We have 5 tv's in the house. Even one with a 35 inch screen. But what good is it, if you have to watch snow. HE claims he likes to listen to games on the radio better anyway. Yeah right. Ok, so we don't have cable. So since we save that $50+ a month by not subscribing to cable I can justify us staying on WDW property once a month or every other month. Guess I can live with snow. You should see Star and I when we get in the room at the resort. First thing we do it fight over the clicker!

I can believe it - but who usually wins? We have cable - but it is different in WDW - you have all those Resort Channels. With two girls fighting over the remote, it can get ugly, that sometimes I need to carry the remote with me - <mummy can be evil at times>.

On Friday 10th February, ITV will be conducting some filming in and around the school as part of a new series with Lord Melvyn Bragg 'Twelve Books That Changed the World'. The filming is likely to include shots of pupils in various lessons, a year 12 assembly and also pupils around the school. The footage will be used in an episode due to be aired in April
that was from a note we got from our school yesterday :) so can't wait for it to come in the UK to watch it (already been on a show called M.O.M (ministry of mayhem) which is now called Holly and Stephan's saturday showdown which was fun)
so can't wait :)

I just need to vent. You see, I have noticed that there are certain some new "faces" around VMK following some of my friends around, asking for free things. These "new players" are so down on their luck that my friends feel sorry for them and might give them a little something that they might have an extra of (I have some wonderfully kind, albeit too trusting sometimes, friends). Imagine my surprise to learn that at least one of these people isn't a "new player" at all, just someone who has made themselves a new ID (not a mule). :sad2: I know that the Dis is home to a lot of great people (I've made some great friends here), but it's sad that there are such dishonest and scheming people around who want nothing that to take, take, take from others. :guilty:
disvaclub92
02-04-2006, 09:55 AM
Oh my!!! I cannot believe that. But I used to be a giving person on VMK. I was I guess too kind. Now I only give to people I know. I cannot believe that people would do this. My response back to people like this is "Do you beg in real life?" In most cases - no response or they leave the room. So sorry to hear that. That just infuriates me to hear someone playing that game.

Ok, I need some serious advice here. My friend's 4 year old walked up and punched me tonight, completely out of the blue. She told him to say he was sorry and sent him to his room and then turned to me and said,"he's had too much sugar and is a little wound up". This is the second time her child has hit me. The first time he kicked me when I was babysitting him. I put him in time out until he calmed down. I have seen him hit her and others members of their family when ever he feels like it.
I really don't know what to say to her the next time we talk. I am offended and really don't want to be near this little boy any more. She is sure to bring it up and I don't know what to say. I don't want to push my values and parenting ideals on her; she doesn't have a problem with him hitting her; but it is completely unacceptable to me.
What do you say to a friend who's child hits you?
lovethattink
02-06-2006, 07:09 AM
Saying sorry is really rather meaningless. It's just going through the motions for the child to "go on" to the next thing. The child needs to be made away it's inappropriate, it hurts (or could hurt), and added somewhere in there that he won't do it again.
I have two children. Sugar has no effect on one child (starwarskid), but makes the other one goes bonkers. He's like a speed demon. He'll run into walls, kick, hit, spin in circles until he's flat on his back or stomach, and bite. Needless to say, this child does not get much sugar! (OT-We discovered this last summer on our way to Ohio. Imagine this child wacko on sweet tea restrained in a car seat. We thought it was the caffeine and gave him a some sips of a caffeine-free sugar drink at the zoo. We couldn't tell the child apart from the animals. The animals seemed more tame. Our trip to Hershey, Pa was interesting, and so was Easter, lol.)

I completely agree with you, unfortunately including the part about there not being any really obvious response to this very inappropriate behavior in a child who is not your own.
Obviously, since you aren't the parent, you can't "time out" the child, refusing to give him the attention he appears to be seeking by hitting / kicking people (unless you're babysitting, I guess).
I think your only option might be just to tell the parents how unacceptable you find being hit / kicked by their child, and that until the behavior stops, you don't wish to spend time with him.
Sorry, no real help here... :(

Admit, you've always wanted to have a secret passage installed in your house, to your very own Batcave.
Here's a link to a company (http://www.hiddenpassageway.com/) that apparently designs, sells, and installs secret passages and compartments. It includes such cliches as the "pull on the candlestick" "twist the vase" or "push in the right book" switches (or more techy fingerprint and retinal scans) to open disguised bookshelf doors, reveal secret boxes in tables, or slide open secret compartments in alcoves.
I particularly like the computer animation of the chair that folds back to reveal a corkscrew slide into a room below (granted, I have no idea how you'd get back out again).

After all, when can you not poke an ostrich with a flamethrower and fling carbohydrate pills the Sorcerer's Apprentice without engaging the Giant Pylon of Doom to a game of Chinese acrobat tossing? Do you gravitate fruit, books, and television to a minor region of applesauce and butter? Who does the animation for making a luncheon of bristles and scalloped tubes? I don't know about Melvin the Magnificent, but whenever I think of harps, I think of elephant nuggets mixed with barley, thus laminating plastic water balloons under a flight of yaks. Are you olefactory or are you bruised? Have you lost your pinkslip and have been forced to goad the Major into prying his flowered cape into an SUV powered entirely by baking soda-eating midgets? Bakery puddles! Leave your peanut butter in the metal oxcart! Float over poorly-drawn lamps and fleece! Scream out to Aunt Myrtle and her den of pigeon breeders! Lacerate! Gnaw! Weed!

When I was in elementary school my friend lived in this huge old farmhouse. It really did have a secret passage way. It was so cool. We could go from the basement to the attic through the inside secret passage way. There were other passages off to the kitchen, a hallway and another room. I drove by one summer and saw that the house is now a Inn. I wonder if those passage ways are sealed up. Can you just imagine getting a suprise guest during the middle of the night, rofl.

Can I ask a question? If people do not know how to drive in snow, why do they live in area that will get snow? Are they there to put me on TILT for work? In addition, it is not a good idea to stop on a snowy hill when you are going up. That is just basic Drivers Ed from High School.
Also, please note those same people who cannot drive in snow also use their cellphones when they drive in the snow.
My usual commute to work takes 5 minutes - it took me 45 minutes today.

How lame must Randy Thornton feel?
He's the "Compilation Executive Producer" for the Happiest Homecoming On Earth: The Official Album of the Disneyland Resort. I bought it tonight while at the park. On the way home, we listened to it. I guess such an impressive title doesn't amount to much.
Seems Randy overlooked something. Disc 2, Song 18 is supposed to be "Remember Dreams Come True" the fireworks song according to the back of the cover and the liner notes. Somehow it got moved to the number 11 position on the disc. Thus pushing all of the songs up a number so that #11 (according to the cover and liner notes) Grim, Grinning Ghosts now becomes #12.
That's way lame. When all of the cover art, research, etc. is probably worked down to the smallest detail, something like, making sure that the songs are in the order that you say they are going to be, gets overlooked? And Disney didn't even put a sticker on it to indicate that, oops, they screwed up. Or how about, since it's supposed to be the Homecoming offical album, they actually change out the cd so that it's in the proper order? Lame, lame, lame, lame, lame!

Oh the shame... I tried it, and the result was so mind stultifyingly boring that I won't even post the result here, except for the comment that it's no surprise I was never able to get a date in high school...
I guess I should try harder to be a drink-downing, law-mocking, criminal mastermind bent upon world domination, if I have any hope of doing, umm, "better" on the quiz next time.
Edited to add: but the find your perfect Oscar date (http://www.oscar.com/games/yourperfectoscardate/index.html) was eerily dead-on, picking Natalie Portman (yow!), as well as comparing her to Audrey Hepburn (one of my favorite classic films is Roman Holiday)

And I don't have to work. Where I work (in food service), we are considered essential staff, so ofcourse we have to report to work.
However, it is terrible out, the blizzard is still going on. However, the snow isn't falling as hard, but we are expected to get snow all day. This is a crazy change in weather considering that it was in the 50s during the weekend and most of the snow had melted.

There are some rare people who continue to deny that my DD#1 and #2 are really, and truly, Beasts. I hope this small sampling of Life in the Bezoar Household disabuses those individuals from their delusional notions.
Beware, these images are not for the faint of heart. There are images that rival, for example, Nautilus' and Jellyrolls' outfits. There are unspeakable cruelties inflicted upon helpless stuffed animals. The traditional concepts of filial piety are trampled upon.
And finally, I bet you didn't know that undershirts and underwear could be worn that way... (Yes, that is her big sister's underwear on her head, and yes, she put the shirt on feet first, through the neck hole, with the arms pointing forward and backward.)

Is it really that strange to have your DD3.5yo and DD1.5yo watch snails getting, uhhh, "friendly" on a nature documentary video? Am I going to going to get reported to the department of social services for showing Snail Porn to minors?
DD3.5yo's favorite scene was a dung beetle rolling it's ball around. "Look daddy! It's the bug with the poop ball!" Described in an Amazon review:
Also especially memorable is the segment involving a dung beetle, doggedly engaged in rolling a ball of dung up a slope of gravel. As he plods on, one can't help but admire his determination and his fortitude. He is a miniature Sisyphus, engaged in an eternal struggle in his uphill battle for survival.
If anyone's wondering, this is all from Microcosmos (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000DZ3BS/qid=1142983314/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-2880866-4799061?s=dvd&v=glance&n=130) (average review 5 of 5 stars out of 56 reviews on Amazon), which is a pretty stunning documentary on the world of small insects and bugs. Ever watch 2 ants pass a droplet of water? Or a spider bring a bubble of air under water to make a little room underwater? It's worth watching. Even the scene of 2 very friendly snails, set to the soaring strains of an Italian aria...

My oldest son was invited to a birthday party being held at a local fast food place. Since it was at a public place on a weekend, I had no issue when my husband and youngest child came with us. The other mom and I are very good friends, but I would not expect her to include my youngest as part of the party guests. She offered to buy a meal for my youngest, but I declined and we bought his meal with ours.
Later, her husand comes up to say hello and calls us freeloaders. What the??? I wish I had thought to ask him what he meant by that, but I just said no and left it at that. This is so typical of him. He does this to ALL of his wife's friends and she has debated divorcing him many times because her husband is disrespectful to everyone around him. I have always encouraged her to work things out with him, but he never changes for long. Should I even mention this to my friend next time we talk or should I just drop it again? Was it wrong for the entire family to tag along to the resturant?

Woah Friend, that guy was WAY outta line. First of all, I don't think you did anything wrong by all going. You paid for your own food, and YOU behaved respectfully. If I was the wife of that guy I'd have him calling to apologize...and then send him to mow your lawn :rotfl:
Seriously, I would mention. Not to get an apology, but so that it is off of your chest. If you didn't say anything, I am sure you'd think of it everytime you saw her. It could change the dynamic of your friendship. Maybe you can just ask if he was stressed the day of the party because he must have been confused in thinking that you were eating party food that they paid for. I'm all for trying to work out differences, but some people just can't helped.

Sara Beth is scared to death
To hear what the doctor will say
She hasn't been well, since the day that she fell
And the bruise just won't go away
So she sits and she waits with her mother and dad
And flips through an old magazine
Till the nurse with the smile stands in the door
And says will you please come with me
Sara Beth is scared to death
Cause the doctor just told her the news
Between the red cells and white, something's not right
But we're gonna take care of you
Six chances in ten, it won't come back again
With the therapy we're gonna try
It's just been approved, it's the strongest there is
And I think that we caught it in time
And Sara Beth closes her eyes.
Chorus:
And she dreams she's dancing
Around and around without any cares
And her very first love is holding her close
And a soft wind is blowing her hair
Sara Beth is scared to death
As she sits holding her mom
Cause it would be a mistake for someone to take
A bald headed girl to the prom
For just this morning, right here on her pillow
Was the cruelest of any surprise
And she cried when she gathered it all in her hands
The proof that she couldn't deny
And Sara Beth closes her eyes
Chorus:
And she dreams she's dancing
Around and around without any cares
And her very first love is holding her close
And a soft wind is blowing her hair
Bridge
It's quarter to seven, that boy's at the door
And her daddy ushers him in
And when he takes off his cap
They all start to cry
Cause this morning where his hair had all been
Softly she touches just skin
And they go dancing, around and around
Without any cares
And her very first true love is holding her close
And for a moment she isn't scared

So, why were you trying to kill the stranger's kid?
;)
Ah yes, the joys of walking through a mall with a 4 year old who is screaming, "Help me, help me! She's killing me! Help, help, this isn't my mommy!"
Try it sometime, quite an experience...

Why cant you have your cake and eat it too? What good is cake if you don't eat it?
and you know what, I hate people that come up to me in real life or in vmk and say "Can I ask you a question?" hmmm, didn't really give me much of a choice there, did ya skippy?
I also dont like people that mock you when you are looking for something by saying "It's always in the last place you look."
Umm, of course it is. Why would I continue to look once I found it? Is that what you do on your weekends? look for stuff you already found?

remember- you can't have you pie and eat it too! Unless I guess if you have a really big pie- and just don't eat all of it- then you could eat some of it and have some too- but... then you wouldn't have the whole pie but I guess that isn't the point...
My father was the King of Cliche's (actually has a crown that says it- because his daughter is a smart um ur smarty pants...) and he would say so many of those things and I'd always challenge them with logic lol

Makes sense to me, at least more than when I tried to drive in England.
You see the left side is the right side, and the right side is the wrong side, except in a few very small towns where the town decides which is the right side, and which is the wrong side, and if the right side is the right side, or if the left side is the right side and the right side is the wrong side.
It's hard to decide which side to take since i tend to side with those who think the right side is the right side and the left side is the wrong side, unless of course you are from england in which case you thinking is the opposite and what is right is left, and right is wrong.
You know, you could just be from a country with no roads at all, but then that begs the question, wich side of the paths do you walk on, the right side or the left, and which side is the right side, the right side?
oh, time for lunch. ;)

i find it confusing that UK is the only place in Europe which drives on the left then the right but since i'm from UK i guess left is right and right is wrong or maybe it's the cars which are more confusing that you drive on the left of the road on the right hand side of the car meh how should i know i'm not old enough to drive yet anyway

FunnyGirl had sent me the llama song a few months ago. I found it hilarious too! It reminds me a great deal of the Mickey Mouse Club theme song, the way they interject "duck" into it, with pictures of ducks, including (ahem) even Donald Duck making an appearance! (Gotta heart being a duck! I know I do!) :thumbsup2

Music Videos (http://www.pcplanets.com/musicvideos.shtml)
At the top of the page is says "Browse by Artist", if you click "O" go find the band called "OK go" Then play the song "A Million Ways". Click the first alternative under the video screen area. I could NOT stop laughing it was so funny lol. Awesome song, hilarious video! (Could it get any better? LOL)

This is upsetting, I thought I should pass it along. Check your drivers license... Now you can see anyone's Driver's License on the Internet, including your own! I just searched for mine and there it was... picture and all!
Thanks Homeland Security! Privacy, where Is our right to it?
I definitely removed mine, I suggest you all do the same.....
Go to the website and check it out. Just enter your name, City and State to see if yours is on file.
After your license comes on the screen, click the box marked "Please Remove". This will remove it from public viewing, but not from law enforcement.

LOL...
But, I am a rather suspicious person, especially when it comes to entering information like real names and locations into internet forms.
Before entering anything into the form (especially given its rather suspicous looking domain "shorturl.com"), I looked at the source code of the page, and looked up information on the registered owner of the domain. Not very official looking.
I recommend testing looking up the License on somebody OTHER than yourself (hey, maybe a politician you don't like), just in case they are collecting real names, states, cities, and linking them with your IP address (which also gives some geographical information, sometimes to the level of neighborhood).
Interestingly, the picture of the politician I entered (--name withheld to prevent raging flame wars--) was EXACTLY RIGHT!
Wow! Scary!
(And yes, I know they include "Privacy Policy: This site did not collect the name or anything you entered", but... Let's just say that I'm a suspicious sort.)

Sorry Mint, my friend, but you got the wrong story! :teeth:
Actually, as I have had that picture myself for a while, for obvious reasons, I do remember clearly that this was nothing more than a case of dehydration. When he was discovered there, at the side of the street, he was returned to the closest pond of water, and recovered very nicely. :rotfl2:

It's a Pirates life for me! I do love those pirates. pirate:
"The Pirates of the Caribbean: A swashbuckling adventure! Yo ho, a pirates life is indeed for you, seeing as you are the classic Disney dark ride that presents a time when New Orleans was under attack from a band of treasure loving bandits. You have a bit of an edge, and an element of danger, and you can scare the youngins, but for the most part you mean no serious harm. You are youthful at heart, strong and energetic, with a taste for the good life, if not hard work. You have romantic notions about the adventurous life on the sea with no rules and no responsibilities except to your ship, but you also weary and worrisome of the fate that eventually gets all those who those who live life on the lamb, stealing gold for greed and burning down cities for your own delight. You are what you are, and you're out to enjoy the glamour of your wild days while they last! Despite your rough surface, the people know you have heart and they will always come back."
Try this quiz! lol It tells you what Disneyland attraction you are lol. I got "It's A Small World" D'oh! :rotfl2:

Yeah, that makes sense. Whenever I think of hrhkit...
burning down cities for [her] own delight
...is about the first thing that comes to mind.
;)
Somehow, I ended up with:
Space Mountain: A thrilling rocket ride through the darkness of outer space! Futuristic and forward thinking, you have just enough 2001-esk elements without escaping Walt Disney's utopian vision for a brighter tomorrow. You represent speed, stealthness, and the promise of technology, while your Dick Dale surf guitar riff of a soundtrack makes you retro and mysterious, without being corny. Keep the lights low and avoid revealing too much, lest you ruin the show, you're only going 28 mph! Regardless of speed, you prove that in the vacuum in space, you CAN hear people scream!
What I get out of this, is that I think that going a rocketing fast 28 mph is something I find absolutely daredevil and exciting, while barely escaping being corny, all while remaining clueless in the dark. Is that right?

hmm, well, just call me Brer Mousse rofl.
Splash Mountain: Everybody's got a laughing place to go-go-go-woah! You are a romp through folk lore from the old south, a cheery log ride that is always pleasant despite such unfortunate circumstances like a five story drop into a briar patch that proves to be more fun than scary. You are casual, friend, warm, and inviting, if a little reckless, it's always a zip-ee-dee-do-dah day for you even when you get yourself into some mighty steep trouble. What movie you sprung from, Disney doesn't like to tell, some consider it racist, but never you mind, the critters inside of you (previously stars of 'America Sings') are always cute and you are just here to have a good time. You love the camera and you live life to your fullest, your thinking is that if 'you WILL get wet' you might as well sieze the day!
thanks for that, it was pretty neat. :thumbsup2

The Indiana Jones Adventure: An excavation of an exotic temple promises to reveal its mysteries until something goes terribly wrong! You are a wild jeep ride through a vengeful ancient temple that has been treaded upon one to many times. Your experiences read like an action adventure flick (could it be that you are based on one?) and your John Williams-esk score makes you grandiouse, purposeful, and larger than life. Fully immersive and completely themed, you really do give your passengers a wild ride and work hard for their sastifaction... in fact each trip through your caverns of fire, snake pits, lightening illuminated ruins, and dart filled passages is just a little different. You are chaotic, but to the point and somehow you bring out the noble side in everyone, the inner Indiana Jones in every soul, even if Disneyland couldn't secure the rights to the likeness of Harrison Ford. Beware the Eyes of Mara indeed.

I got the Mark Twain, funny, Mark Twain is from my State.
The Mark Twain: A leisurely paddle steamboat navigating the Rivers of America in the 19th Century! A venerable Disneyland institution, you date to opening day in 1955 and respresent stablity, tradition, and a healthy dose of Americana. You never make your passengers seasick (in part due to the fact that you role along your secret underwater track) and always offer some great panoramic views of a Frontier mining town, New Orleans, and back woods glimpses of wildlife and injuns straight out of a Samuel Clemens tale! Small children and old folks like you best, but that doesn't mean you don't know how to get out and enjoy the nightlife, you play "Steamboat Willie" in the nightly production of the Fantasmic! Spectacular. Just one question, just how is that you are always managing to be headed "down river"?

i got PARKING LOT TRAM! LOL
The Parking Lot Tram: The uncredited workhorse of the Disneyland resort. You take visitors from the largest parking lot on earth to the front door of Disneyland and back again. You aren't the picture of glamour and most wouldn't even think you provide any sort of excitment, but without you no fun could be had at all. You don't mean to, but you seem often sour. You get little respect and sometimes get losts of scorn, but yet you are faithful and eager to please. People need you and you need them. Your simpleness is the perfect backdrop to showcase the eager smiles of children riding you for their first time to the Happiest Place on Earth.
