What was sad? My report or your impression of the attraction?

to be fair this was the very first time it had been shown to the public and was just to see how an audience would react to some of their ideas.

I think it's sad that he didn't actually say anything about the show. Talk about a teaser.

The poster above must have been a Timekeeper fan.

No, there was nothing wrong with your report. Thank you for it.

What is sad is the attraction.

Ah Ha. Well they did give it the old college try. I tend to agree that this would have worked just as well at Disney-MGM, Fantasyland, or even Epcot (as an 'addition' to imagination pavillion). But Monstropolis is quasi-futuristic and the decor is sci-fi enough that it fits into Tommorowland, if just barely.

Please keep in mind that what I saw was a fairly rough sketch for a test audience. I didn't see the queue area or anything that might help set up the case for this attraction being in Tomorrowland.

As for the use of the 'virtual puppet' technology (ie, Turtle Talk with Crush), I'm off the opinion that these sorts of attractions (Crush and Laugh Floor (even Midway Mania)) are precursor rides where Disney is building up experience with the technology required to make the true next generation of Disney attractions. Just like Disney could not have done Pirates without Snow White or Peter Pan.

Thanks for the write-up! How did you find out that the voices were by Adeventurer's Club and Warehouse performers? Did they announce that? Give any names?
