This is actually very easy to do with Microsoft Power Point.

I have done this for a few friends and myself, and it saved us a bunch of money. The people we looked into were around $150.00. But we were able to do 100 pictures, three songs, and it turned out beautifully.......in two hours! I am not a computer genius and neither is DF and we made it very easily with no problems! I would mess around with it yourself, before spending the money. If it becomes to complicated, i would then contract it out. Just my $00.02! Good Luck! :thumbsup2

That is what I was thinking of doing, but then what do you do with it for the reception? Do you save it to a disk? Do they have projection screens? Do you have to make it into slides?
Thanks!!

We burned ours to a disk and it is playable on a DVD player which can be projected to a screen.

So did you burn it on a CD-R or a DVD-R? If it's a DVD-R, can you do that if your computer doesn't have a DVD burner?? Thanks!

I have used a really great program by Ulead. You can put pics on it and music to make a slideshow. It also lets you do all sorts of different transitions. The part I liked about it was that it allows you to make a DVD that has a menu screen to start with. I used it to make DVDs for my family a couple years ago and put all sorts of family pics on it.

That sounds very neat! Is it something you download online? Is there a cost for it? Thank you :)

I bought mine at Office Depot... It's been a while since I bought it so I can't totally remember how much it was. I say it was $80 but my DF says we paid $50. It was totally worth it though because there's so many features. You can even take other DVD clips and add them or edit DVD footage that you've shot. It's pretty easy to work with too. HTH! :goodvibes
