Just checked my holiday booked with TCD...and Iam so glad I booked weeks ago for next August. :sunny:
Now The same flight has gone up About £300 for the four of us.
Iam quite surprised at this as last year I kept a careful eye on my flight price and it never changed in 12 mths. Plus last year we didn't book till January...we probably wouldn't have booked yet this year but we wanted to get the free dining. So glad we did. :cheer2:

I have to say, good advice is to not check the flight prices after you have booked.... imagine how miffed you would be if the price had gone down by £600!
Having said that, I always check as well so I don't follow this good advice myself :teeth:

We've noticed a massive price increase on Virgin too. The flights that were about £350 this year are now over £600, I know prices go up every year but that seems rediculous!

Hi
Virgin prices are normally £850 for when we go in July!! Got ours much cheaper through opodo.. but they have now gone up to the normal £850.. again, its a case of being 'in the right place at the right time'!!

we booked with Cosmos in July to go September next year, the price has now gone down £400 and we missed out on the free dinning plan, so we are very miffed about that. We will never book this early again.

When we booked with TCD in March 2005 (for Feb 2006) prices rose over the year by £200 in total, plus additional fuel surcharges, but reduced after Xmas again (although the fuel surcharges didn't). Sorry, I can't help looking either..if only to learn for next time
.....all to do with supply & demand probably, but I would say don't panic just yet...just keep checking..........

As we have to go during school holidays and I am only allowed an exact date at work, I am just glad to book early so long as I know it guarantees me the flights (accommodation is through DVC).
Once we do not need to go during the school holidays I guess we will book later and then perhaps shop around but until then I am just happy to book it.
