Also all those who are fighting overseas or who are in the military now keeping our country safe and trying to spread peace. Like my brother.

I saw this today at my childrens school and it touched my heart.
I thank all those who have fought for us to have the freedom we have today.

We stood in the rain today in Preston, Cambridge, Ontario with hundreds of other local residents to pay tribute to those who have served in the defence of our country. We remember those who came home and those who never did.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.

Well, that made me cry.
My grandfather fought in both wars. My husband has been to Afghanistan twice.
