I thought I saw somewhere that a person staying in a BWV Studio was getting daily mousekeeping.
We're renting in Feb and wondering if this will be the case or not?
Anyone know?

You can get daily Mousekeeping but you have to pay extra for it (or book via CRO on a standard cash ressie, not a DVC ressie)

Because we don't want to be tied up at th washing machine we will be getting a extra set of towels and 2 extra T&T days when we stay in a Studio. This will only cost $26 and we will have fresh towels for each day.

For DVC points reservations, you get limited housekeeping. For stays of 7 nights or less, you get your trash removed and towels replaced on day 4 (with day 1 the day you check in). For stays of 8 nights or more, you get a full cleaning on day 4, and your trash removed and towels replaced on day 8. The cycle repeats after that. And when we say trash and towels, it is just that. No bed making, no mopping, no vacuuming, no sweeping, no picking up the room.
If you want daily housekeeping you can pay for it (I believe it is $25 a day for a studio). Or you can get Trash & Towels for $10 a day. Or you can just get an extra towel pack for $6.
You'll have four bath towels, two hand towels and four face cloths in a studio.

We also are renting points for the first time. If we want the extra towel pack or the trash and towel service, is that something we just ask for when we check in or does that have to be reserved ahead of time? I certainly don't want to bother the DVC owner for something like that.

Arrange at check-in or call housekeeping from your room.

I was told by MS this week that it must be added to the reservation at least 24 hours prior to check in.

Recently staying at BWV, Mousekeeping kept a cart with towels in the hallway all the time. People were just taking them as needed. You can also get all the towels you need at the pool. I can't understand paying for them.

DVC has requested several times not to use pool towels in the rooms. Somethig about them having to be laundered differently because of the pool chemicals.

Thats ridiculous! A towel is a towel. It has the same use at the pool as it does in the rooms. What about the Mousekeeping cart in the hallway. Has anyone else noticed a cart with towels just sitting in the hallway the entire time. Many guest were taking fresh towels and leaving dirty towels on top of thje cart

Oh, great. Just what I want. Items that someone's dirty towels have laid on. The linen carts are NOT self-service. They are for the staff doing the housekeeping.

I don't understand what the problem is .
Pool towels are pool towels or they will no longer be made avail if everyone keeps taking them.
And if you can afford to be at a DVC resort you can afford the $6 to get an extra set .Most times if you just ask they will just give them to you instead of chargeing.
But whats it teaching our children that you can just take something thats not there for you to take.
