new vacation DVD

Has anyone received the new vacation dvd yet? i received an email a month ago saying that it would be mailed to me soon, but it has not arrived yet.

I ordered mine tonight through an Alamo.com sweepstakes and it stated 8-10 weeks. That means I should get it by the end of January.
Oh well, I guess it will help keep me warm on a cold winter night.

yes i asked for the dvd...they even offered it first I think....I have also ordered from another site but haven't got it yet either.....
My trip starts dec 29th...my kids are the ones who want it soo bad....I hate having to keep saying it will be here soon...

I've posted this information on some other boards, but you must have missed it. We were at WDW at the end of Sept. and we saw filming for the new dvd still going on at that time. On the 24th they were filming the new Woody show in Frontierland, and on the 29th they were filming a "mother and daughter" walking in front of the "Partners" statue at the MK. There may have been filming going on even after those dates.

I ordered a new dvd, too, but since it hasn't even been 8 weeks since we saw filming actually going on I really don't expect to see the new vacation dvd until maybe December, and I think thats being way optimistic.

I know some of you are going down in December, and if I were going I would want my dvd, too, so I'm sorry to say I have my doubts you will have it before you leave. I would LOVE for the Disney folks to prove me wrong though!

Mine came a few days ago, and I still haven't gotten to watch it yet! DH wants us all to watch it together, but we're never all home at the same time!!! Tomorrow we have to be home because Santa is calling the kids sometime between 6-8, so I'm hoping we can watch it then!

Thank you for posting about this. I just ordered mine (12/6) and it said 2-3 weeks for delivery. I want to pump up my family to go back to WDW in Fall 2007 and this will certainly help! :cool1:
