Please help. Leaving in 29 days! I need some type of camcorder for my trip. I was thinking of getting one of those older VHS ones with the tapes, but my DBF thinks we should get a digital one. What do you recommend? I can't spend more than $150 since I've already spent about $2000 for my upcoming trip. The tapes on the VHS ones are cheap, but the memory cards for the digital cameras are sometimes expensive. Trying to save for Xmas gifts too. What should I do? :sad2:

Look for something that uses miniDV - they're compact, digital, and fairly inexpensive at the bottom end too. alternatively a used Sony that takes Digital8 tapes would also be a good bet, but they are considerably more bulky and therefore a lot of extra weight to carry round with you!

I don't think you will find a Camcorder,any type, for under $150.00.
