Recommendations for SSR?

We're headed there during the first week of December. Have an 11-year-old boy. Any recommendations on buildings/rooms? Many thanks.

Congress Park, building 16, DTD view, close to the quiet pool as well.

I would recommend something in the Springs section. It's close to the main pool area (with the slide), but it's also close to the Win, Place or Show Arcade (does he like to play video games) and community hall. :thumbsup2

It depends on whether you have a car or not. If you have a car you can stay anywhere in SSR. If not, I would ask for The Springs. It's close to everything(pool, restuarant, store, checkin/out). The only downfall is it has the last busstop. Congress Park has the best view of DTD.

Need you ask? :rolleyes: We try our best ot steer him away from the arcades when we're at WDW. We'll have a car, but I'm not fond of jumping in it for driving around the resort.

We've only been to SSR once and we stayed in The Springs. It was very convenient being close to the main pool & AP. We walked over to DTD a couple times and realized how close Congress park actually is. That is a pretty big quiet pool they have there. Do they have a jacuzzi near that pool? I know they have 2 around the main pool
