We have been back for a week as of today. Ever since we got back, I have been dreaming (and daydreaming) Disney! Last Thursday my DH and I gave each other a kiss and I had my eyes closed. I actually daydreamed that I was in Tomorrowland at night (this is only the second time in my life that I had that vivid of a daydream).

Since then, I have been having dreams of still being in Disney World. Even woke up two nights ago thinking our room was in Disney :rotfl:. Last night I dreamt about the talking garbage can (named Push I believe) that has been talked about on these boards, although I haven't read anything about it since we came back.

This was my first time being back in Disney in 13 years and have never had this before. Anyone else have it this bad after coming back :confused3. Or do I need another Disney fix soon? :teeth:

I've had those kind of moments. Lately mine has been about that exciting moment when you pull into your resort!!! That moment that it all becomes real. You are there and the waiting is over. Our last 2 trips we drove down in my MIL's van, that is the van we drive now. There are times I'm driving with the kids and a movie is playing on the dvd player and I look out at the highway and I swear I'm on my way to Disney. Then reality hits and I want to cry. Most of the time I'm driving north to Cleveland to visit family...heck I'm not even going in the right direction. Hope you can get your Disney fix soon.

Sometimes when no one's home I go to DD's room and run the trains and monorail and just close my eyes and rest a bit.

You can see it in my sig it's the TINK ROOM

Thanks everyone! I'm glad to know I'm not going crazy :teeth: I think last night was the first night I didn't dream Disney, but I do miss it. The vacation whizzed by so fast it felt like a blur. We missed a lot of things, but that gives us a reason to go back.

Unfortunately, I don't think we can go back until 2008 at the earliest. We're trying for baby #2 now and the conference that DH attended at the Swan & Dolphin is in Vegas next year. It won't be back in Dis until October 2008 :(. Besides, I told him that next time I would love to be able to go during the Christmas season to see Disney all decked out with decorations!

Oh well. At least I still have the DIS boards!

Oh, my gosh! I absolutely LOVE your DD's room, it's beautiful! A room any girl would just love to have! You did an outstanding job!

I haven't dreamt 'Post-Disney', but we leave for WDW in less then 5 months, and I am already dreaming nightly of 'Pre-Disney'!

If this keeps up, it will seem like a 5 month long vacation instead of a 9 day one...how great is that?!

I keep dreaming about eating there. I think it's because I want to write a DDP review and keep looking over all my notes and every single receipt each night before I go to bed. I really loved that DDP.

I was one of those who wondered why people had to go there more than once a year. We were just there in October, but I want to go back, NOW.

We keep talking about when we can go back. I quit my job to stay home when my DS4 was 1 (have a DS10 too) so money is very budgeted. This "bad mom" part of me keeps thinking that perhaps in a year or so, we'll use the money from a tax return for a vacation instead of putting it in the kid's college fund. We'll be paying for college anyway... and they won't know... right???

I hear you! I also want to go back now but can't. I'd love to be able to take a two-week vacation again to Disney. But until I get out from behind my front desk (I'm a receptionist), I can't. My position relies on others for coverage (unfortunately).

I need another Disney fix!!!!!! I wasn't anything like this when I was 14, 19 and 22 (the other times I went to Disney) :rotfl: . What happened :confused3

Funny, I never dreamt pre-Disney. I thought I would since I was so excited.

I know the time you have left, feels like it's creeping by at a snail's pace; did for me. But I know when it finally arrived, it whizzed by so fast that it felt like a complete blur. Almost like a dream. I know it wasn't though.

DS4 loved telling everyone at his Pre-school about it. And since school was closed today, he went back to daycare for the day and told his old friends all about it! The aids were surprised that he knew each park by name and what he had done in each one. He's only been gone full time from there since a week before Labor Day. They couldn't get over how much he has changed in such a few short months (of course, they're not seeing him 5 days a week anymore either). But I am glad to know our DS had a GREAT time for his first trip to Disney World!

Yes. All the time. I took my bf for the first time in September, and now even he is all over Disney. We plan on getting married in the Summer 2008, and we may do a Disneymoon. We aren't 100% sure because we would love to go to the Carribean. But we need a Disney fix!!

If you are not there, dreaming about being there is the next best thing.

I had another Pre-Disney dream last night. I dreamt that my sister and I were at a restaurant (not sure which one), and I was on the DDP, so I ordered my dessert with my meal, which looked like a most scrumptious ice-cream sundae in a milkshake glass, complete with fresh whipped cream and a cherry on top. But for some reason I didn't take one bite of it!!!

What torture..to dream of Diseny desserts and not take one bite!!

I am always dreaming of Disney. Tomorrow is exactly one year since we left Disneyland on our last trip. It will be three years until we visit WDW.
I visit this site daily. I dream about it at night. I look at my DH several times a day and say "Honey aren't you excited?" and he knows exactly what Im talking about.
I want to go NOW!! :wizard:

Oh, yea....one week ago today, we were there -- at Disney Quest. Yes, I have daydreams of being at WDW. Kinda more like flashes. I will be writing on the board or teaching English to my 7th and 8th graders and I will have a day-flash that I am walking down Main Street or into EPCOT or wherever. Just keeps the dream of going every month or so alive, I guess.
