I'm surprised that the Osborne Family Lights photos came out, considering I was using 800 speed 35 mm.

Just curious because I have never used 800 speed, did you have to use the flash also to get the pics to turn out?

To get the night shows, I had to set my camera to have the shutter open for a few seconds and then the flash went off. Most cameras have this feature. You can use the camera as normal during nightshots, but you may notice the photos are kind of washed out.

The key is keeping your camera very still while the shutter is open for a few seconds. I have to use both hands or mount it on a lightpost to do this.
