We're still here too.....but we're leaving tomorrow night after work.....we're driving down to FL and going straight to Cocoa Beach....staying on the oceanfront at a hotel Fri and Sat night. Sat will get a mani and pedi in Cocoa Beach. Sunday at the port early.....don't care if they won't let me on til 1pm.....I will wait!

We're doing three nights at WDW after cruise.

I pulled all my clothes out yesterday and dropped them off at the laundry. Then will pick them up today and I'm packed except for accessories and bathroom stuff.

I'm so excited now......tomorrow, tomorrow.....I'm leaving tomorrow......it's only a day away!

Even though we're not doing the leis....me and DH will be wearing our DIS lime green tee shirts....I'll be the one DISing on my laptop with my shirt on.....you can't miss me....come on over and say hello when you see me at the port.

Me and DH are very friendly and we don't bite......well DH did bite a waitress....but only once.

YES I will have my laptop with my broadband access and I will be DISchatting with my May cruise at the port....I must give a play by play coz I'll be there and they will not.

ahhh.....good to know i am not the only one left at home. LOL....we leave early friday morning. Catching the early bird flight out of Nashville, TN to Fort Myers to see family then driving up to the port on Sunday. Ella....how early is early for you? I am thinking of getting there early also but would like to see how early......what time does the terminal actually open for us?

Oh yea.....my clothes are packed, Dh is almost packed. I have to pack my everyday things, my camera, my laptop, my snorkels (no that is not an everyday thing... LOL), my sunsreen, my bed, my couch and even the kitchen sink... LOL....i feel like i have that much to do..hehehehehe...

I believe the terminal opens at 10:30 am. I plan to have DH drop us (kids and me and luggage) off at the terminal at 10:30 ish and then he is taking the rental care back to Thrifty. He'll catch the shuttle at that point. I hope we'll be checked in and ready to go by the time he gets there. We were there last time around 10:45 and the wait didn't seem long at all. We watched cartoons, looked at the ship and just brought things for the kids to do. They had a blast just checking out all the other kids coming into the terminal.

my dh and yours will probably catch the shuttle together... we are also using thrifty. that is about the time i would like to get to the terminal also!!!

That would be funny. My DH (Jerry) looks military (but he's not - it's the hair cut) and will be the one who doesn't know what he's doing. He's pretty capable, but when it comes to this stuff he's so lost. I'll have to give him written directions on how to return the car, catch the shuttle and meet us back at the port. Silly man. What would he do without me?

Stephieann, early for me is when they let our car thru the gates and that would be exactly 9am. I know this because last year we got there at 8:45am and they said go away and come back in 15 minutes. So we did and they let us in. They tell you that the terminal doesn't open until 10:30, but that's not true. We waited on line outside last year, by the time we offloaded the luggage and DH went to park the car, they were letting people in. It was a very short wait. Once we got inside, we processed quickly then had to wait until about 11am before getting on board.

LOL, that is to funny sounds like our dh's are about the same....my dh was asking me where it was compared to the budge place we used last year...so i told him that we would leave his aunt and uncle's early enough to get some breakfast and drive and find the thrifty place then he can take me back to the port to check in and him take the car back. My dh will have on a maroon/red homemade shirt with a patriotic them.....he is miliatry!!!

Well about packed here.... will have to get to bed early... leaving the house at about 2 am to head to the airport. have to stop by walmart...thank God for 24 hr walmarts... lol....

Well we made it to Cocoa Beach....a couple of days chilling and pampering before getting on board. We're having dinner at the Grill on Sat. night and we'll watch the Magic as she pulls out of port. We'll wave to Jackie, who started this thread then jumped ship and got on board the Magic instead. Then it's just a wake up and we will be boarding the Wonder. It's getting real close now and I'm very excited and can't wait to be at the terminal seeing all of you!

well, i am sitting in le belle, florida. weather is nice. cloudy but nice. it was mighty humid yesterday when we flew into ft myers. of course that is coming from us being in a cold rainy climate that we left behind. i am not going to complain..lol. i think i may start a small trip report...cant wait to see everyone..................................just under 12 hrs till we can get to the port....:cool1:

We're home!! OMG we are soooooo exhausted from getting up so early today for our 6:45 breakfast! LOL

For those of you who we were able to meet (Steph, Monique, Michele) it was so great meeting you all! We had a blast on the cruise (although last night's rocking had me walking funny all day today! LOL).

Steph, thank you again soo much for organizing the meet up and the ToT. After seeing the CHAOS that was last night just to get the maps from the atrium, we're especially glad we had your ToT!!

Don't lose touch, guys!! I'll be posting pics within the next few days!

he everone sorry that i was not able to meet anyone but marc and I had a great time time while on board i book another halloween cruise for 2008 but im going to change it to 2009 as soon as they come out

Still doing laundry !! Don't have alot of space to hang stuff to dry. Should hang a line in basement. At least eveyone has clean socks & undies now.

I'll have to post more next week. We did have a great time !! Glad to meet everyone we did !!

Wow, lisa you have been busy...I also have a trip report going. I will have to post my link in my siggy also. DH and i have decided to go again in 2011 when one of the new ships come out. That will be our 15 yr anny. Well we will go if the itinarary is where we can.

Talk about walking funny... i still think i feel the sway of the ship when i am sitting still... LOL....wow.... am i still on the Wonder... HEHEHEHE

We decided we're going back to WDW (parks only) in 3 years for 10 days. This way we'll have more than 1 day at each park and can go back and rest at the hotel (Aaron will be able to nap while Jackie & Seth play at the pool or around the hotel) and then we'll be able to get back to the parks for the fireworks and stuff. In 5 years, for our 10th anniversary, we're going on one of the 7 night cruises to renew our vows. Hopefully our parents and Scott's bro and sis and their families will be able to join us then as well! As much fun as we had, the combo trip of land/sea is way too tiring, especially with very young kids!

Oh, the pics are great !! Monique you really got some cute ones !!

We had a really nice time on vacation, Trevor had a blast. He loved the cruise, especially the club.
It was great to meet those of you we did, by the way, thanks for all the great Halloween treats. The pirate duckies have had a few squirting battles in the tub since we got home, unfortunately I got soaked by one (accidently), but the warm bath water comes out of that duck COLD !!
I hope everyone got to enjoy themselves even if the weatehr wasn't the best. If it hadn't been for the wind, and waves you couldn't have asked for a nicer time.
We had great servers in the dining rooms. Witt and Fransico, they did magic tricks for Trevor and treated him like a prince. What fun dining was. We lucked out with very nice tablemates. A family of 6, mom, dad, 3 kids and grandma. Only downfall: they were Bengals fans, but since we beat them 24-13 Sun afternoon, they kept pretty quiet about football. I did raze them just alittle.
Could only wish for more ocean time at CC. It was Trevor's first ocean experience, and he really wanted to build a sand castle.
We were chosen as a "Magical family" out of 2577 people on board. It is a random thing. Twice we got cookies in our room. Trevor got several stuffed animals and some Disney trinkets for his birthday. He got a $10 card for the arcade too. We were invited to a reception on deck 9 one evening, but the wind was so bad you had to hang on to your appitzer plate (and it was china not paper). We also had the opportunity to either snorkel, bicycle or rent rafts free at CC. Trevor was too young to snorkel, no way I am going to bicycle when there is an ocean availabe and the beach closed before we could rent rafts. Bummer we didn't get to use it, but was a nice gift.
Considering a 7 night cruise for 2009, also considering going to the Carribean and staying at some all-inclusive type resort to more enjoy the beautiful ocean and sand.
Every one stay in touch as long as you can. Have great holidays !! I'll keep checking the board and posting on it from time-to-time !!
Oh yeah, did anyone else gain weight over the vacation. We all did, especially DH !! He got a real workout at basketball thursday night !!

Monique, I'm so glad you guys bought that one of Emily and Belle, that's the one we kept telling you about that was beautiful! Love all your pics!

Hope everyone is back home and settled again. We're finishing our laundry today FINALLY and I changed the kids' spring/ summer clothes over to fall/ winter. We actually got snow flurries last night!! :eek:

Anyway, I fell down the stairs on Wed and both Scott & Jackie got Pink Eye the same day. We're not sure if they got it from Seth or not since he was over and done with his drops by then (did we tell you he got it on the ship?), so it's been quite a week for us. The baby is ok but I'm all achy and in pain. I landed on ceramic tile on my bad knee that had 2 surgeries last year!

Is anyone still around? I wanted to let you all know that, unless something happens sooner, I'm scheduled for a C/S this coming Friday (Feb 15) at 8 am!!! Less than 4 days and I get to meet my newest son!!!

Too bad about the Steelers, between them and the Redskins (Eric's team) our house was solemn for about a week. We were extremely happy the Giants won !!
We just went to see the broadway production of the Lion King on Sunday in Pittsburgh. It was great !! Trevor really enjoyed it !! The costumes were amazing.
Again Lisa, all the best to you and your family and a big welcome to Aaron, what a special valentine's day gift !!

Awww, thanks!!! I can't believe it's tomorrow morning already! WOW!!! I'll definitely post some pics and his stats ASAP. I'll be in the hospital from tomorrow till Tues and we're bringing the laptop. I was a Giants fan before I ever met Scott and he dragged me over the the Steelers so I was very happy!

Aaron Logan arrived Friday, Feb 15 at 8:08 am weighing 8 lbs 1 oz and 19 inches long! My c/s went well and my doc tied my tubes. He also found a hole in a ligament that he needed to repair. Aaron is 2 weeks old today (already?!) and is doing great! Jackie & Seth are so in love with him and he's such a sweet baby boy! My family is now complete!!!! I have my entire birth story and some updates posted in my MySpace blog so if any of you are on there and want to read it, let me know and I'll friend you (http://www.myspace.com/eliezrah). Congratulations. Aaron is a beautiful little boy. Well, not so little, he is a nice size. Glad to hear all went well. The kids look happy to have him join the family. Of course I loved seeing him with his Steelers football, never too young to start being a fan !! Also, gotta love him in his Mickey garb.
Take care and enjoy your time with him, as you know, they grow up way too fast !!

Thanks! LOL Scott took a million pics of Aaron with the football to send to work and to use for the announcement (notice the Disney theme there as well? Jackie & Seth's announcements were also Disney themed!)
