Was hoping you might be able to help me here. Is there a way I can get something delivered to our room for when we arrive? DS really wants a Stitch backpack. I was thinking I could have it delivered and be waiting in the room when we get there. Do you know if they do something like this for you? Thanks.

The resort won't have it waiting in the room because I was told the room isn't assigned till you arrive. They will deliver it after you have checked in, that has always been our experience. Gifts of a lifetime will shop for you I think. Try their website www.giftsofalifetime.com

Thanks, we are checking in early Saturday morning, leaving our bags and going off to a park for the day. So I was hoping that they would be able to have it during that time. I will check out the site. Thanks very much.

It really depends on how busy the resort is and who is working when you check in. When I was delivering gift basket to WDW resorts, I never knew when they would be presented to guests. Sometimes they would be put in the rooms after the guest checked in. Often, they were presented to the guest at check in. Even with a note on them saying deliver to room after check in, the were sometimes given to the guest at check in. Unfortunately, all companies must deliver to the front desk (even the Disney Florist), so you just never know.

Thank you Feral. That also would be pretty cool if it were there waiting for him at the desk. He would be very excited. Is there a way to do this? Call the Stitch ride gift shop directly?

Normally, the only way to have something waiting is to be staying concierge or contact the Disney Florist or a private company. To have a package delivered to a resort, they require a room number. But, it never hurts to try. Give them a call and ask.
