Courtyard view. I had this reservation booked since April and have been calling daily since Sept trying to get a discount of any kind but no such luck
My friend didn't decide in time to have a wide assortment of places to stay. I had to book 3 nights at Wilderness Lodge at $562.50/night followed by Contemporary for 2 nights at $759.37/night.
December 27-January 1.
Horrible isn't it! I've never gone without a code of some sort. The only great thing about it is my DH doesn't like Disney, so my best friend is going. She has to pay for half the room. She is a really good friend isn't she!
Oh well, I'll only retire this one time at putting :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: 33 years in elementary education.

We are staying at POP and hmmmm... let's see... I am looking at my confirmation, where do you see how much your rate is? We paid $1540.26 for our 5D MYWPD with the ZBH discount. Does that help? :confused3

no it was a special price using a discount code which has expired that price was before taxes
Only having to pay half my price was the only way that I'd stay at those rates. I have to admit that concierge at both contacted me the next day after booking the rooms. This is a special trip for me, but I deserve it at this time in my life! :thumbsup2
No laptop for my college student this year, he will have to make do with the 3 year desktop we got him when he went to college. Mom is going to Disney World! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

For my first December trip I will be staying at AllStarMusic at $59 a night at the annual passholder rate for one night, so that will give me December 2nd and December 3rd at DisneyWorld :goodvibes
Also I will be staying in DisneyWorld for 5 days from December 23rd to December 27th and my passholder rate is $59 a night for all those nights :cloud9: I will be staying at AllStarMusic again :goodvibes So I get to stay in Disney on the night of Christmas Eve and on the night of Christmas day for only $59 a night :goodvibes :cloud9: Now that is a very good rate for Christmas :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

OK, now I feel better. I saw your post saying $151 at BWI and thought I'd somehow missed a fantastic deal. So is that like 50% off rack rates? That's definitely a nice discount.
I had looked at BWI for our december trip, but it was $230 with AP discount.
So we're staying at POR from 12/16 - 12/22 for $99/night ($111 w/tax) with an AP rate.

The CM rates range from like 25% off to 60% off depending on how early you book, what time of year, whether or not the CM is staying in the room with you, etc. Since my sister is staying in the room with us she was able to get us the 50% off rate.

Tell me more December deals. MY DH just told me to check dates and the system is down again!!!!

When did you book your room to get that rate?
I booked it online on August 18th :) There are some special passholder rates for $59 a night at a Value Resort :goodvibes Also if you book a room on the last night that has the passholder rate you still get every night at the passholder rate :goodvibes For example December 23rd was the last night in December with the $59 a night rate, so when I booked my vacation at AllStarMusic to check in on December 23rd and check out on December 27th I still got the night of December 24th to 26th at the $59 a night passholder rate :cloud9: If I would have booked my vacation to check in at AllStarMusic on December 24th it would have been $125 a night for every night that I stayed at Disney
Just think if I would have booked my vacation to check in on the December 24th and check out on December 27th I would have had to pay $125 a night for 3 nights would would come to $375 subtotal. But since I booked it from December 23rd to December 27th at the passholder rate of $59 a night my subtotal for those 4 nights is only $236 :p So by checking in on the the 23rd of December I am paying less to stay at AllStar for 4 nights than I would be paying to stay at AllStar for 3 nights if I would be checking in on the 24th of December :p :p

We are staying Dec. 1 - 10 at ASMo with AAA our 9 nights with tax was $640.00. I don't understand how people on here pay $200, $300 or sometimes $400 a night for a room per night and think that's a deal. We only sleep in our room and would much rather have the additional money to enjoy the extra's that disney has to offer.
