anyone else dissapointed with the ads for Friday?

So far I can't get exicted about any of the sales for Friday! I always go out and get great deals! But at this point I don't see anything I want or need! SIGH! I love the surge you get with all the other nuts at 6 AM oh heck 5AM! :D hopefully when we get tomorrows paper I will see something that says YES SHOP AT DAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking the same thing when I read our paper today.I didn't have a Kohls or Target ad so hopefully there will be better ads and more in tomorrows paper.

Disnee Dad Says...................................Out here in California, we have stores opening at 5:00 am!! Why bother, unless you see a specific item you want, you will get the same deal on Saturday and Sunday. I guess it's like Space Mountain at park opening, and every one runs to it. All the money you spend on Friday , takes away money from your next Disney trip!!!

I get so excited about shopping on "Black Friday" but this year, there is nothing that I need or really want! There are usually stores that give away freebies to the first 100 in line or something but not this year!!
I can't believe I took the day off of work for this!!

Yes, quite disappointed as well.

The sales are not true sales, just current prices.


No good giveaways either, Target used to do a fun giveaway, not this year.. The snowglobes in JC Penney was the only thing.


Zany Brainy has some nice things, but not many.


We didn't even get a Toys R US catalog.

In our paper, Macy's has a free $10 coupon towards anything, in addition to 15% and 10% off coupons for items on sale. I haven't read the rest of the paper yet!:D

I had so much fun last year shopping for deals like a maniac. I was so excited to get the paper yesterday.....until I went through the ads. I kept going through them over and over again to make sure that I wasn't missing anything, but nothing really looked like it was worth getting up at the crack of dawn. I did go buy a computer today, (yay for me!) but it wasn't a deal that I couldn't have got in the next few weeks.
