I'm planning a trip to DLR in May for hubby and I to celebrate our anniversary. We are staying at the GC using DVC points. I've begun researching dining options and expected that I would need to make reservations early, like we are used to doing at WDW. Everything I'm reading on the Disney.com website indicates that only same day reservations are taken. Would someone enlighten me as to what's up with that? Also, what restaurants do you recommend. We've been to Blue Bayou, we may do it again if we have time, but we're interested in trying new things at GC or Downtown Disney.

Napa Rose The Jazz Kitchen and Avalon cove are all excellent restaurants to eat.The phone # is(714) 956-6755. As for same day ressies I guess they figure if you make them on the same day chances are you'll show up for it. It also cuts down on the people who hold multiple reservations because they don't know where they want to eat.
