Hi Everyone, were back!

Oh so sad to have left.

We went for 23 days, the weather was fantastic. Had a mini heat wave when we were there. 93 on one Saturday and we were touring a park. Two days later it dropped 30 degrees and were freezing.

The rest of the time, temp. was in the 80's and lots of sun. Lovely breezy weather, perfect for park touring and the pool. Had one rainy morning, and went to MGM.

The lows - 5 hour delay going out on the the 11/10 from Manchester with Virgin. Arrived in the dark!. A 3 hour delay coming home as well due to a medical problem on the inward bound flight. Sea world was also disappointing for the Sharmu show. I much preferred the old ones.

The highs - too many to mention, but some of the them were

[list]
Regal palms resort. Fantastic pool, we also met the owner while we were out there.

The weather, MNSSHP, balloon flight.

Best park, MGM areosmith was fantastic, I also enjoyed my son's rollercoaster invention at Disney Quest and I normally hate coasters.

Best fireworks, all of them.

Best food, Boma's, thanks guys for the recommendations. The most disappointing Disney resturant was Crystal Palace. I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone.

As a family we also liked Beaches and Cream and ate there quite a lot.

We've all put on half a stone over the 3 weeks, oh well, I'll have to get the old stepper out and work off that excess fat.!!!!

Thanks guys for all your tips etc on this site. Matthew (DS), really enjoyed his second trip to the world. Have to start saving, oh well, I can plan for the next two years!!!

Welcome home

We were there the same time as you and the weather was really freaky. Unfortunately although staying at Beach Club Villas for a few days never found time for beaches and cream.

We were there 20/10 to 3/11 had no delays with virgin (except half hour on way back) - the sea world shamu show and the dolphin i thought were a nice change but they did seemed to focus too much on the trainers and the acrobats and not enough of the fish entertainment.
