Look at it this way - the weather forecasters often have a hard time predicting daylight, so it could well change twice before you go!!

I have been using Purell like mad! I've been wiping down shopping carts with it before I let DS touch ANYTHING! People are looking at me like I'm crazy but I don't care!! It's too close now to get sick. By the time it cycles through all 3 of us, someone will be sick while we are there!:sad2: I've also been drinking my Airborn every day too.:thumbsup2

I leave Sunday...I am kinda figuring this is more of a solo trip. I am going tiwh my brother and his 2 friends, but I think they will be sleeping in a lot.

Plus I rented a car and they didn't want in on that, so I will be getting up early by myself and hitting the parks. I have some old friends to meet up with, from when I was a cm.

So I leave Sunday and arrive at 1ish to pick up the car and then don't have to meet up with my brother and friends till 430 for dinner. Then they are off to watch the superbowl and I am off to MK EMH!!!

Well as I mentioned a couple days ago, my three were making the rounds with the vomiting...the baby had it last night. She was the last one. Well today my son has had 103 temp, chills, and aches! AHHH!! I cannot believe this! We leave on Wednesday afternoon. I pray it is all over by then! I am washing every piece of bedding, living room pillows (since he was laying on the couches), lysoling EVERYTHING, bleaching door knobs....the works. I feel nutso over it. :crazy2:

I love when the countdown is down to less than 7 days. We start the countdown around Aug-Sept when we make the ressies so at this point all I can see is palm trees and rapid fire images of all the parks, rides, resorts, characters, animals and restaurants.

This year DW sent our toiletries to the resort ahead of us and all the packing was finished 2 days ago. We are VERY ready to leave. :cool1:

Balmy in Westland! We were at -25 in Ann Arbor when I got up. Three days for me - this time, Thursday, I should be landing in Orlando! Between Wednesday and Thursday, we're looking at an 80 degree difference (-9 to low 70s!). Thank goodness!

ok, seriously time to pack......took down the last of the summer bins daughters have tried theirs on, now DH and I need to do the walk of winter shame down the catwalk.....:rotfl:

Have almost everything we need, tommorrow is a few more things to pick up ( oh yeah and finish some more of that pesky work I have to do).

Then Wed is pack day....supposed to have 3-6inches of snow!!! that will motivate me to pack!

Thursday is pick up whatever discovered we needed on Wed, girls haircuts and pay all bills.

Friday is get travelers checks, finish any outstanding work, run through all lists, food for trip & pack plane activities for girls.

Saturday is any last, last minute stuff and watch the video!!! Then pack last minute stuff, load the car set the alarm and stay up all night in anticipation!!

Sunday is THE DAY.... anyone else out there going this weekend....are you all packed, no don't tell me if you are!!!

I am so excited to meet another non-packed person who is leaving Sunday.....and as long as this snow comes now ( tonights news saw it fizzling a little) we will both be in the air in no time!!!

Piggy ~ we are at the WL with the Wild Ones....my parents, nieces, siblings and their spouses are all on this journey toghether ( if anyone else is at the WL next week be sure to bring your own headache medicine as I am sure my clan will wipe out the mercantile after the first 2 days of vacation together) Seriously we are so excited to spend this special time together ....I know my kids will remember this as one of their favorite trips when they are writing their post on the dis in 2025!

We just got back on Friday night from a 9 day trip. We had SOOOOOO much fun!!! :yay: I would for sure say pack for dressing in layers. Most days we wore shorts, tank tops, and sweatshirts...but by 11 the sweatshirts were off and we were hot. Then one day we were all bundled up because it was cold and raining. So, I would pack a mixture of clothing. Have a GREAT time! It is such a magical place....
