Does anyone know an address to send service people cards/letters/candy-treat supplies to? I am a religion teacher for 2nd & 5th grade & I would like my kids to all send some things to Iraq to say "thanks."

Awww welcome back to your nephew & thank him for his service! We are stationed at Fort Hood and DH is currently serving in Iraq for a year. He comes home for R &R at the end of the month!!!!! :cool1:

im a bit late to the party here but another suggestion is to contact your local national guard armory-if there are NG soldiers deployed from your state thats a great place to send letters and treats and the folks at the armory will be happpy to help you out

hi , happy thanksgiving to everyone. my son in law is home from iraq. he actually flew home today from ft. hood, but he has a flight at 730 am on sunday morning. but he really is so happy to be here for the couple of days. his mom and brothers and sisters were so excited to see him. and of course, my daughter and 6 1/2 month old grandson.we went over a little while ago to say hi. he looks great , thank god. we are lucky to have him back in the us. our thoughts are also with all the women and men in the military that are not home with us. we send them thoughts and prayers, and of course we thank them all. my son in law should also be home for christmas, and then i believe by then he will have a place set up so my dd and grandson will be moving ther e for a while. i cant really think about that right now, i will miss them all................but we are just happy and lucky. have a nice week end...........

Anne Marie, I posted this on the DDA, but figured this is a good place also.
A young single gal from my unit has deployed to the Middle East for 3 months.. If you have any extra stamps could you send her a note, card or have your kids draw a picture for her. This is her first deployment and I know she could use the warm wishes.
Her mailing address is.
pm me for it
Thank you all very much.
My friend's DD is stationed in Iraq, and she gave me a list of soldiers in her unit. Please send me a PM if you would like the names and their address.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not post APO addresses on an open message board-it is a violation of army OPSEC policies and can be an unintended danger to the soldier. If this were a moderated military board that post would be removed.
Im not trying to discourage anyone from writing-but keep the addresses private please!

Being an old Army grunt I can tell you that unless you name the soldiers post location and APO address together, it is not a violation of OPSEC.
KC- I sent you a PM.
Let me say one last thing. I am proud that so many people care for our soldiers these days. God bless you all.
