Got an email from Play today and the Little Mermaid DVD I pre-ordered has been dispatched. It is for my Christmas, don't know if I can resist watching it before then ;)

I'd love to hear what you think of the DVD. I've already got this and disappointed that as a Platinium release we are not getting a collectors edition like Ling King, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella etc

DD wanted it for her birthday but there is no way I'm waiting to the 12th to watch it! I've waited years for this one :)

I am getting this for dd for Christmas and I am afraid she will have to wait as she has already had enough DVDs bought for her this month.

Me and my sister had it on video, so she has watched it plenty of times at my mums house, so don't think I am being to mean by making her wait.

No you're fine ;) Molly has struggled to watch my video copy but the sound and picture was dodgy even before she was born.


Has the DVD been out in the UK before? DH and I were debating this the other night

Did anybody buy it on vhs the second time when it was released?
I brought a copy and it had peter andre singing kiss the girl on at the beginning and because of that it cut off early at the end just as triton gave ariel his blessing and casts the rainbow i was sooo annoyed unfortunately i couldn't retrn my copy as i did not realised this happened as i brought it 1 and 1/2 years after i brought it as i always fell asleep watching it (pre kids)
Did anyboy else get one of these copies? :confused3

We got this VHS with Peter Andre's video on the end, didn't realise I was missing out on something in the movie - it was one of the first Disney vids we bought DD (now 11), and is still my favourite! I have this on the list for DD for this xmas.
