Hello All ~ Square One should be getting ready for Cmas soon! How about a Dismeet!

Saturdays are always better for me, any one except the 18th ( DH 30th birthday suprise party)

Its been a long time since i have been to a meet.....Dec 9 and 10 I will be in Disney.

Sundays are best for me but I can try to make a Saturday.

I could probably come to Square One as long as the weather permits. November 18 is not good for me either, and we will be at WDW the weekend of Dec 2/3.

I personally like Sundays because it's usually a bit quieter.

I prefer Sundays as well. Nov 26 looks good - Melissa's not working (so far!). Something always keeps us from these Dismeets, so I hope this one works out! :wizard:

This is just an informal gathering of several Disnuts who happen to live in the same area. Just start a thread for your fellow western Disney fans and see who in your area would be interested. I haven't been yet, but my understanding is that everyone gathers in the food court at Square One in Mississauga as close to the Disney Store as possible and shares photos, stories, etc. Good luck and have fun! :thumbsup2

Might actually be able to attempt it - I'll want to get stocking stuffers from the Disney store anyway. End of Nov/early Dec would work best as I try to avoid malls as it gets closer to Christmas.

After Reading all the posts, looks like the DISMeet will be:

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 26 at SQUARE ONE SHOPPING CENTRE IN MISSISSAUGA. 11:30am in the FOOD COURT closest tables to the Disney Store.

The mall stores open at noon on the 26th, however, Walmart opens earlier [I park at Walmart upper level and walk thru to the food court]. I think Tim Hortons opens at 11am or 11:30am. The next weekend is when the mall hours are extended for Cmas. I'm not sure if Santa will be there on the 26th.

I'm surprising my DD with a trip to AKL on Dec 13 - she has NO IDEA! I want to pick up a nice sweatshirt for her - to give to her the morning we leave to wear on the plane :)

Has anyone been to the Disney store lately? do they have any Christmas sweatshirts?

As I will be heading over there tomorrow morning for the "Black Friday" Sale! I will check it out and let you know.

BTW, when I phoned this morning they said they are opening up as 8:00 a.m., so I figured I would take the long way into work and check it out! :rotfl:

There were some Christmas sweaters at the Disney Store at Fairview and at Vaughan Mills although the selection was actually better at Fairview.

Am hoping to hit Vaughan Mills after surgery if I don't feel so crappy. Was going to go before surgery but it's scheduled for 7:45am!!!

DH might have to work up in Newmarket on Saturday and we also planned to go to London for Dan's birthday this weekend, since we'll be away for it, next weekend. So we might have to go to London on Sunday instead. I'll know tomorrow night.

I got home just as it got pitch black. Traffic was a bit heavy but moved steadily, thank goodness.
