DIS Time is off?

I have been very confused with the timing on pms for the last little while...I usually use the DIS trade boards to meet up for trades, and then pm at the meet up time...but lately it seemed like I was getting pms a half an hour after they were sent even though I was constantly refreshing...

That's when I noticed that DIS time seems to be WAY off...according to my satalite-updated phone it it 2:23 pm, but according to DIS it is 2:58. Does anybody know how to change this? It is really confusing me...

LOL, I thought it was just me. I even updated the time on my computer thinking I had to be the one that was wrong. I was just too chicken to say anything.

You can try asking on the Technical Support (http://disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=43) Board.

It's been "off" a bit for a while. When you are here, you are on DIS time. ;)

I was just wondering why the time that Dis shows that I post is nowhere near the real time! Anyone know?

for example: it says I posted this message at 12:26. It is 11:52.

The interesting thing is the Dis time often changes... so sometimes is is 20 minutes off, while other times it is 5 minutes off....

When you type in the web address for DIS you leave reality and enter a magical zone where time has NO meaning. Good Question KT I was wondering the other day how Schnerk could post what was new for sale and his post time was before VMK was even open
