I've been pricing out hotels for our night-before (our flight leaves at 6:45 AM!) The best park and fly price so far is the comfort Inn at $85 plus tax (plus they insist on charging for a rollaway because of our little DS:rolleyes: ), the only rate so far under $100. Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza is $129, Fairfield Inn is $119, Courtyard has no Park and Fly available that night.
Anyone have experience at the Comfort Inn there? I hate to spend that much $$$ (we probably won't even get to the hotel until after 10!!) but a limo to the airport would cost $85 going and $75 coming home, plus tips and parking fees, since it's so early in the morning.

Robin, for the few times we have done park-n-fly at DTW we have stayed at Days Inn and HoJo on Middlebelt. Of the 2 I would choose Days Inn. HoJo gave us a big runaround about getting a crib in our room. We did not know if we would have a crib in there until we got in our room! Needless to say, we took our Pack & Play just in case. There was a crib, but the tv did not work. So, if we ever did park and fly again, it would be at Days Inn. My cousin has stayed at Hilton Suites and was happy with that. You may want to check that one out too! Good luck and have a fun trip!

My sister stayed at the Comfort Inn in '99 when she and her family went to WDW. She said it was fine...for what little time they were there. They had four people in their room. They did the Park and Fly package, too.

We are flying out next Sunday from DTW. We are staying at the Marriott (not the one inside the airport...this one is just outside). We are doing a Park and Fly for $89. I can let you know how it was when I get back on the 8th, if that isn't too late.

Hope this is helpful!!:)

We leave Dec. 6, but thanks anyhow. DH actually is leaning toward the hired car going up and coming back regardless--we get back at 11:30 on a Sunday night after 4 days at WDW, and the kids and I all have school the next day, so he is thinking the thing to do is walk out of baggage claim and have somebody waiting. I am going to check out Days Inn, though.
The airport marriot sure sounds cool, doesn't it? But we'll only be there 6 hours and it's over $200 from what I've been able to find.
