Can you carry drinks in your checked luggage?

I'm taking an internal flight up to Manchester this afternoon and have packed a couple of bottles of made up squash in my checked luggage.

Is that actually allowed under the new restrictions? I know we can take shampoo and such in our cases but I suppose I'm just thinking are drinks allowed, especially as this is made up squash in water bottles so is obviously "tampered" with.

Do you think sealed water would be better or should I ust avoid it all together?

In your checked luggage you can take liquids just not hand luggage

I think on internal flights youn would be able to take liquid if you purchased them after security
