oh my! cruise #2 on DCL for our family...and we had an incredible time. Frankly speaking this one was FAR better than 2 years ago (which surprised me after reading some of the stories here).

Look for our trip report to start sometime in the next week!

Glad you had a great time. Hope that things onboard are improving. Can you tell me if there was a Steel Drum Band on board? We really missed them last month.

We didn't see a steel drum band...so no to that.

We are planning on #3 in November 08 (if they ever release those darned dates!). we might try to go a special itinerary in 08 depending on where they go and when they go there...we would really like to do a 10 or 11 day cruise next...7 just isn't quite enough!

I hadn't heard they were pre-paying tips...so I don't know about that. But, gee, if they are, I'll try to talk DW into figuring out how we can get on that one!!!

Sorry, I didn't meet you guys at the dis meet. I was there, a little late. I was with my three year old dd who fell asleep on my shoulder as I was chatting.

D'Zell, I was walking one day and happened to walk by your room. Loved your door signs!!!

We had a great trip as well, and came home exhausted. My kids had a blast in the clubs and LOVED room service. We got to spend some time with Tinkerfun, and Hank56. Tinkerfun and her family were on our Capt Marvin's trip in GC, along with Team Williams. I also meet Smooch briefly at the meet. Then, we met up with Hank and Tinkerfun at Paradise Beach in Coz and on the last night at the Cove, for drinks, and lots of CAKE!

We'd love to go again in the fall of '08- we'd love a to do a double dip next trip!

Mary, I was on the 10/14 double dip and asked Jocelyn at the rebooking desk if the pre-paid tips were still being offered on the transatlantic trips. The answer was YES! I added that to my 5/12/07 ressie. There is no advertisement at all on the ship about this that I saw. You need to ask.
