Is there a Maximum # of points you can sell back with MB?

I seem to remember some time ago there was a maximum amount of points you could selll back with MB. Does anyone know if this is still true and what is the Max? Say I want 500 Points can I sell back all 500 or is there a limit?

Also, if I buy 2 contracts for 250 points each (so I can will them to my kids) can I sell back the points on both contracts?

When I purchased in Oct of 2000 I was allowed to sell 1/2 my points at $10 each. A maximum set on the sell back was $2000.
So someone buying 400 points could sell back 200 points and be maxed out at $2000 under the plan. Best bet is to check with a guide for the current program.

$2000 has been the maximum allowed for MB in all of it's forms over the years. The program itself has involved different payback amounts (from $5 to $15) and different %'s, but the maximum allowed has always been $2000.
