I'm a cat person. Im TERRIFFIED by most dogs :blush:

Im all for puppies and dogs who stay small but like most of my friends have huge dogs so yea...

I like cats because...well i think they are cute and small and very smart.

i'm a dog person. i grew up around dogs and cats but i have always seemed to like dogs better maybe coz they like to play and be cuddled. i have bad memories of cats.

When I was a kid, I absolutely loved dogs. I wanted one so badly. I wanted a dalmation because I absolutely loved 101 Dalmations. I'd beg and beg my parents for a dog. I however was terrified of a big dog an old friend used to have. But there were reasons, I never knew why she bit me playfully with her huge jaws. So basically, I used to be terrified of big dogs. On my 11th birthday my parents bought me a dog. I was sooo happy. Best birthday present hands down. He's shih-tzu/papillon. The only papillon you can see in him is the shape of his ears (however they don't stick up) and his muzzle. Other than that he looks like a shihtzu. He's black and white.
I'm no longer afraid of big dogs when they jump on me or bite me.

Cats are a different story. I love them, and I'm scared of them.
See, I never had a cat. When I was little I only knew two cats. One, was my mum's best friends cat. I always left it alone because I was kind of afraid of it and it was never around. The other was my best friends cat. And she's a horribly mean cat. I tried to pet her once and she tried to scratch me. I've had nightmares about cats diggin their claws into me and not letting go. I've played with cats and then they've turned on me, I've had a cat rub up to me and I thought it liked me and then it attacked my leg. It had no claws though. I think part of my fear is the fact that I've never been scratched, so the idea terrifies me. But I love cats because they're beautiful, and the cuddly ones are so nice. Kittens are adorable and I want one. Kitten claws don't hurt. I'm only afraid the cat would grow up to be mean.

4. cats smell bad(to me at least)

There are balls of fur in the corners of every room in my house from my dogs hair.
My dog doesn't do anything. She just lays around and begs for food all day.
My dog smells terrible.
My grandparents dog will snarl if you even go near her, so you can forget about cuddling.


You can't steryotype all cats and dogs like that,
they're all different, like people.

I cat-sat a cat one who wouldn't stop playing! She was so terribly sweet.


Don't get me wrong, I love my dog, and truthfully, I'm proably more of a dog person.
But not all dogs are playful and cuddly and non-shedding
and not all cats are lazy and smelly.

I am such a dog person... I want a dog that will jump on me the second I open the door and will cuddle with me on the couch... I don't see cats running to the door when their owners come home... I like other little furry animals too - bunnies(I used to have 2! Babs and Buster! ^_^), hamsters, etc.. not ferrets so much - bad experiences at my neighbor's house with them x_X

In addition I am very allergic to cats sometimes the reaction gets to a point where I can't breath - so I could never own them

I like fish.. I'm usually only allowed to have fish - right now I have a Balloon Dalmation fish.. I named it Rolly because it was really round compared to our other fishies... and an African Frog.. his name is Biff.

I like Cats and Dogs. I really like my cousins dogs because they are really
friendly and i know they won't hurt me.But other dogs I get a bit scared
when ones running nearby looking a bit hyper.I used to love dogs and
not be afraid of them but when i was on holiday this Dalmation type dog came round mum and me.And because we looked at the dog it went hyper.
Mum and me walked away from it but it chased us and ran and knowing me
i started panicking.Then mum started shooing the dog and then the dog got
angry thinking we were bad and almost bit my ankle!Soon it left us alone..
We think it came to us in the first place because my brother was carrying crisps and eating them next to me.And thats not the only time this has
happened either...But I still love dogs :goodvibes

I love my friends cats, but they usually do what they want. My dog always comes on my bed when I want her to, and the cats..well you have to pick them up and close the door to keep them contained.

There is a reason that my favorite cartoon characters are Pluto, Scooby Doo, Gromit (from Wallace and Gromit), etc. It's because DOGS RULE! I have a dog myself. Her name's Bebe and she's a Husky/Black Lab mix of some sort.

Well, don't get me wrong, I have no problems with cats. They're cool in my book, but I just have no real interest in them.

I volunteer at a local animal shelter, and I've been getting to know a Great Dane that they've had for almost a whole year now! (For anyone who doesn't know what a Great Dane is, it's a dog and I've got two words to describe them. THEY'RE BIG!!) It's very awesome.

So, anyway, I prefer Dogs over Cats anyday, but I do not hate cats.

I like all sorts of animals, especialy ones that most people wouldent want as a pet. Within the next 5 years, I wanna get a Pug (named Frank), a Cat (name will depend on what kinda cat it is), a Beta, (hopefully the same one I have now, if not than one of the same color, and male, his name is Walking Contridiction), and 2 Hermit Crabs (names will depend).

I also want a Raccoon. I FRICKEN' love Racoons. I used to have a Hamster, named Good Charlotte, but she died. I plan on getting annother one verry soon.

But I DEFINATELY choose dogs over cats, I'm alergic to most Cats, so yea il proabably have to get one w/o any hair, evin those are BUTT UGLY.
