View Full Version : How far to Anaheim Convention center??

Hi,
we will be staying at the Grand Califorian during my DH busniess trip, held at the Anaheim Convention Center. Is it close enough that he can walk or he should take a cab??

Depends on how much he likes to walk! If I had to guess, I would say its probably 20-30 minutes. You might want to look at mapquest and see how far it says.

The convention center is right across Katella, so it's an easy walk - probably as far from GF as Toontown.

The Convention Center is ob the left where the white dome is. The Grand Californian is in the center of the photo.

Its still a bit to walk... i consider taking a bus or something. Its kinda like walking from the Mickey and Friends parking structure to the main gate.

Hi Mel,

It's not that far, its right across the street behind DCA. You should be able to see it from the Hotel. Bob can get there two ways if walking. One would be to go out the Front entrance and walk out to the street. Turn left walk the length of DCA, to Katella, and cross the street. Then you turn Left again and it's about halfway down the street.

The other way is a bit more trouble, but probably a little bit less walking either walk through DTD, or DCA (if open) walk to the other side of the entrance plaza, jump on the tram to the Lion King parking and get off at the first stop. Then walk out the back gate across the street and you're there.

You can also take a cab, but I would expect with traffic and such travel time probably won't be much different than walking.
