View Full Version : My posts aren't being counted correctly - it keeps saying I have 295 posts ....

Every time I post something new, it still says "295" or sometimes "296" for "# of posts"! Help! Thanks!

it says 296 now, post again and see what it says, maybe its just on your end?

How many do you think you have? Looking at your post profile, I see 296. Do you think you have fewer? More?

I may be totally out in left field with this reply, but I'm gonna give it anyway!

If you go back and look at previous posts - even if you posted them months ago - the number of posts will always say the current number - same as your signature. If you change you signature all previous posts, even if they were a year ago will have the updated information.

Thanks! That may have been the problem but I thought I had 295 last week because I remember thinking that I was only a few away from 300 posts! I may be losing my mind! :blush: Thanks everyone for your replies! :sunny:

You're on the DIS. I wouldn't say you're "losing" your mind. :crazy:

By the way, a while back I got caught up in the number of posts confusion, so don't feel lonely! :)

I don't know if this helps, but I noticed that if I post twice and they are next to each other, it counts as 1 post and not 2 separate ones. You may already know this, but I thought I'd mention it. :sunny:

I don't think you're crazy. Something similar happened to me when I hit the 600+ point.
