Need ratio Candy Corn:Peanuts

I can do not remember the ratio for this payday taking mix. For some reason I want to say it is 3:1, but I am not sure.

If you know please let me in on the secret;)

I couldn't get it to come up with the search feature either. :( 3:1 sounds good. I tend to keep the candy corn & peanuts separate & just grab them. I usually take 5 peanuts to 1 candy corn - but then I shouldn't be eating the candy at all. :rolleyes: DD used to try getting away with 1:1 so I had to hide it! :rotfl2:

I think I'll try 3:1 and see what happens. I am sure DH will let me know.

And you use dry roasted peanuts, right?

Hmm...dry roasted? I just use regular, as long as they're salted & have the skins removed. I'll bet those would be better though! :teeth:

I just made a similar mix (snickers instead of pay day) with Peanut M&Ms. I used a 1:1 ratio

Spoke with a neighbor who said she just puts it together till it looks right. So that is what I did. I think individuals just need to realize how much of each to take.

Snickers, huh? Is that with Candy Corn also?

Yep, you can use peanut m&ms and candy corn, or peanuts, regular M&ms and candy corn.

I'll have to try the pay-day way as well!
