IllumiNations Cruise Price Increase

PRICE INCREASE IN EFFECT!

Spoke to Cap't Scott last night (10/23/06) at Bayside Marina. As of Sunday, October 22, 2006 the IllumiNations Cruise Price has gone up to $275.00 and Birthday Cruises to $300.00
No Grace Period, Price has gone up ("Prices are subject to change at anytime")
I assume that this affects Wishes too, I was told that all Marina Pricing is the same.
Please pass the word to avoid this surprise at the Cashier's Window.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger. The fishing excursions have gone up from $240.00 per boat, 4 to a boat, to $125.00 per person.....A 108 percent increase based on 4 to a boat.

Wonder if someone is in for a big raise??

What were the old prices on the Illumination and birthday cruises??

And what do you get with the cruises? How long do they last, etc? Seems like a ton of money ... do you sign up for them at any of the Marinas?

A private 24' Pontoon boat (limit 10 guests) and Driver, a cooler full of soft drinks and water, and snacks.

Usually about 1-hour on the water, or until IllumiNations has ended.

Not a ton, especially when you can try to split costs with another DIS Board member.

No, not that easy, you have to call 407-WDW-PLAY 90 days prior at 7am (eastern time), cross your fingers and hope you can reserve one of the 5 pontoon boats available.

What were the old prices on the Illumination and birthday cruises??

We did the Illuminations Cruise back in 1998 and paid "only" about $100 for the pontoon boat. A few years ago they really jacked-up the prices.
