generally in the past 2 or 3 years, at what times of year (if at all) have they offered AP discounts on campsites?

were the discounts offered only on the preferred campsites or all of them?

does anyone have a link to the new (within the last year or so) AP booking rules.

i took advantage of the free dining promo the last two years and am sort of out of the loop on the ins and outs of booking an AP rate room/campsite.

I also would be interested in hearing what if any discounts have been available lately for campsites. I have reservations for Jan. Feb. and Dec. of 2007 and so far have been unable to get a AAA rate for any of them. Crossing fingers and hoping for an AP discount to come out. Or is this unheard of for campsites?? I know with some of the other discounts ( free dining) campsites were left out.

AP Rates have shown up for the campsites, but they are getting scarcer lately.

As a matter of fact for Dec 2006, the AAA rate was LESS than the AP rate for partial hookup sites.

The link above is a historical chart for all Disney Resort discounts that have been released over the last few years.

It doesn't show the amount of the discount, however.

I was just able to secure a AAA rate for Dec. 10 -23 2007.... $52.21 per night with tax included for a preferred site. Previously I was only able to get Dec. 10-20 at the rack rate of $63 per night.( I think this price is before the recent tax increase) I had a second reservation from Dec. 20-31 at the peak holiday rate of $103 per night. I was able today with the AAA rate to tie Dec 21-23 in at the lower pre-holiday rate!!! :cool1:) Sorry....hope I didnt confuse everyone there!!! Total savings....$263.11 :goodvibes Every little bit helps.... still hoping for AP discounts.
