Hello,
Can someone confirm if the VCR's at the Wilderness Lodge 1/2 BR units are able to record and not just play a tape..
Thanks!

I can't confirm for the VWL's, but the VCR's at BWV do record. I would think the VWL's do too. Anybody else know for sure??

I haven't stayed at VWL, but I noticed when touring the VWL model at Boardwalk that they had a player, not a recorder (it was noticable because it's smaller than a regular VCR). I asked the guide about it, but she wasn't sure if it was the same as in the actual villas.

I remember in March our 2 BR had a VCP (p for player). I went to set it up to record Frazer on a Tuesday night, and it had no 'program' mode to do this, just play.
The one-bedroom unit we had in May had a player. I posted that on the board, and someone responded that they had a recorder/player, so I thought perhaps our unit was shorted, and we should have requested a regular VCR. Now I don't know.

In March, our 1BR had a player. I was sort of disappointed because all the documentation said it would have a VCR.

Kind of dissappointing, those things are pretty darn cheap these days. I also liked the idea of recording the resorts and activity channel, so it's available at home to get psyched up and share with new guests.
