Halloween 2006 in WDW - Staying at the Contemporary

It's been two loooong years since we've been to WDW! It has seemed like an eternity, but our wait is almost over! :goodvibes

Some highlights of our upcoming trip:

- Contemporary Tower MK view room

- 2 MNSSHP (Oct. 27th & 31st)

- 2 nights of Food & Wine Fest

- Dinner at California Grill (w/a custom ordered Happy Halloween cake!)

- Breakfast at Chef Mickey's, Boma, Kona Cafe, & Crystal Palace

- Haunted Hayride at Fort Wilderness

- Nightmare Before Christmas 3D movie at AMC 24 at Pleasure Island

Our suitcases are out and ready to go! Each case has a LGMH, and so do our camera bags & fanny packs that we will be wearing in the parks! I'm hoping to see some other DIS'sers in WDW!

This week is flying by! I think we finally have everything we need for our trip. (I've been back and forth to Wal-Mart about 10 times!) We've got all of our stuff together, but we won't do the big packing until Wednesday night. This is really unusual for me - I've been known to pack 3 weeks before a WDW trip! LOL! I took a few minutes last night and printed up some stickers to put on our Mousekeeping Tip Envelopes...

My DH thought I was nuts! I explained to him that this was the proper way to tip the Mousekeepers, DIS style!!! We are DVC members, and we usually stay at the Boardwalk, so we don't have housekeeping like a normal room. This is our first time staying at the Contemporary and I'm really excited! I can't wait to see the castle & fireworks from our room!
