Help from those who have flown out of LaGuardia on Delta. We will be on flight 667 leaving at 6:10 am. We should arrive 2 hours before flight time. Can anyone tell me if there will be Delta personnel there at 4:00 am? are any food counters open since we will be not getting the Delta deli breakfast in a bag? Deciding whether I should just pack food for my family and hope that we can still get beverages in flight. Thanks in advance!

That is the same flight we are taking in january. Delta told my boyfriend to be there 2-3 hours before. I don't know about the people being at the desks at that hour - but there is usually a line for those waiting for the counters to open. When we take vacations we always take a 6am flight. There is nothing open the stands generally don't open until 6. We usually bring bagels or some sort of snack to eat at the airport - and some sort of drinks. Miserable but just think- you will be in the happiest place by 9 and you will have a full day!!!!...let me know what you find out about what time the counter opens - and what your experience was at the airport at that hour.

I think none of the airlines are serving meals in coach on less than 3 1/2 hrs. I know at DIA, the restaurants have opened up earlier, to accomodate psgrs. In fact, I spoke to one manager, and he said his business was UP since Sept. 11. Good news for someone!:)

Does LGA have a website??? Maybe you can pull it up, and see if anything is open. 6:10 am is awfully early..............

They will serve beverages on your flight, so I wouldn't worry about drinks;)

Its 3 hrs for me to fly from Providence to Orlando 5 weeks ago. On my Oct flight my son and I arrived at the airport 445am and after we got through security we found a bagel shop. There is a Dunkin but of course the line is long. The flight did serve granola bar/small goldfish/half can of soda. I also had my brita water bottle filled and was sucking on that during take off and landing.
Im flying Delta again out of Providence in 12 days.

Flight 667 is the one we have taken the last several years. This summer we arrived at 5:20am, and no one was serving hot breakfasts until later. They said they had to warm up the grill and start cooking the food. Bagels and danish and coffee were available though. This may have all changed since 9/11, and maybe the food concessions are opening earlier to accommodate passengers earlier arrivals.
