How is June at US/IOA? Longer Hours?

Our next trip to Orlando maybe scheduled for June 8-16th 2007? I am considering a day at US or IOA? Do they have extended evening hours at these parks during the summer season? I would rather go in the evening with DH and DS(6). Any thoughts? I would like to surprise DS by spending time at this park too. :sunny:

They stay open until about 8pm. Crowds are moderate, temps are hot in the afternoon.

If you stay onsite, then it may be better to go in July because from the 4th of July thru the 1st week of August the parks stay open until 10pm and you get to see fireworks at 09:50pm. The plan of attack for those days is to visit early, go back to your hotel room in the afternoon for a pool swim and nap, then return at night.

You can do this even if you don't stay onsite, but it's worth the extra money to have the fancy pools, boat rides to the parks, and not have to worry about driving. Book 2 nights at the end of your trip and you'll get the entire experience.
