Hi Everyone,
I am trying to figure out the best choice of songs..I want ANYTHING but here comes the bride....Ideas? What about the first dance?

I agree I absolutly HATE The Wedding March by Wagner. I went down the Aisle to the Trumpet Voluntary by Clarke. We also used the Main Street Electrical Light Parade for our Recessional, I loved that!

We used Aerosmith's Armagedon song (I cant for the life of me think of the name) for our 1st dance.

I'm walking down the isle to "If you can dream" from the Disney Princess Cd. First dance is "Eyes on Me" by Faye Wong.

I was at the wedding pavilion and heard the organist practicing. He was playing "Part of your world" from The liitle Mermaid as the processional. It was beautiful.

Now I have to go to Amazon to see if I can listen to a snippet of the song. I have always loved Pachalbel's Canon in D to walk down the aisle, but I still don't know what I'm going to do!!

I haven't decided on the song to walk down the aisle too yet, but it won't be the traditional one that's for sure :goodvibes.

As for our first dance we've both pretty much agreed on Heaven Candlelite mix by Dj Sammy and Yanou. I'm only worried that the song is going to be too slow.

It's pretty! Are you using that version, or an instrumental version of it? So neat :)

I am using the version with words as well, but not the princess version the solo version.

I don't think its too slow! My friend did use that at her wedding last year and it was beautiful! :)

When you wish upon a star is my processional song. For our first dance we have So amazing by Luther Vandross.

There's always the Bryan Adams version.
We are having the traditional wedding march to walk down the aisle & Lets Stay Together as our first dance

Aww, I'm stuck. I don't know what song to have for the walk down the aisle or the first dance. I'm still trying to think of the song I'm having for videography, ah, so many decisions!

Were using "When u wish upon a star" as my walk down the aisle and for our first dance were using "You and Me" by Lighthouse. :cloud9: :love:

I walked down the aisle to Wish upon a star the instrumental. When we came back up it was You have a friend in me... toy story. While the guest were being ushered in for cocktail hour it was to Be our guest... beauty and the beast. Our first dance... everything I do.. bryan adams. "our dance song I believe in you and me... the four tops. OUr last song of the night.. Aerosmith I don't want to miss a thing.

My wedding party walked down the Isle to “Can you feel the Love Tonight”. I walked down to “Canon in D” (Love it… it makes me cry every time I hear it!). After we said I do it was the “Main Street Electrical Parade”. And we had our first dance to “Belle a Notte” from Lady and the Tramp.

It was simply amazing!!! :lovestruc

I'm doing disney songs for the cermony and our first dance song is hopefully going to be the theme song from Beauty and the Beast.

Our first dance is going to be fun! Have yall seen the video that Disney's videographers send out with a sample. The one with Henrique & the blonde headed girl.! I loved that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been practicing our DIP for when he says, "You may kiss your bride"

And we have found a perfect - up tempo song-- "My First, My last, My everything" I can't wait! I am SOOOO ExCitEd about this! It will be so Much FUN! :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :banana: :bounce:

We re gonna be using a Foo Fighters song called Everlong for walking down the aisle to. Its an acoustic version of the song still with the lyrics included just will need to get a cd player though. As for the first dance thats a bit trickier, we re trying to narrow down our options but still have no real idea. Both me & my df are massive Rock music fans so we re not gonna be playing the standard music
