I have a Chloe myself, but my baby is 5 now and she started school. They grow up too quick (not to mention my 13 year old who thinks she is 30!)

Nice pictures, and welcome to the DSLR world. I have only been here for a few weeks myself with my Pentax K100D.

I bought my first dSLR, the K100D, last month although I haven't had much opportunity to use it, not as much as I would like anyway. I'm looking forward to using it in WDW and on the DCL Wonder next month...but I need to practice with it more between now and then!!

Not true, your pictures are very nice. The one with the b&w with the blue eyes is great. I really need to figure out the selective coloring like that.

Were you using the portrait mode or one of the more manual modes?

I also like the b&w picture with the blue eyes. I too would like to know what mode you were shooting in.

I too just got a Rebel XT last week (love it) - today my 75-300 lens arrived, can't wait to get home from work and check it out.

Yes, those were taken in Portrait mode. I haven't quite mastered the more creative modes on the camera yet.
