Who's going the 1st week in Feb.?

Time is finally starting to tick away for my trip this coming 1st week in Feb. Anyone else going during this time? Where are you staying? We are staying at POFQ. Everyday I think about our pending trip and it makes me very very happy!!! :banana: Thankfully we all have DIS to keep us occupied until our trips begin!

I know, hopefully crowds will be simialr to how they were this past first week of Feb. when we went, they weren't too bad, even with the National Dance Team there for a few days. I hope you and your family have a great time! :goodvibes

We will be there Feb 2nd thru Feb 9th. This will be our 2nd time going to Disney the first week of February. We have gone many times before at other times of the year and this week seems to be the best for us so far.

This is our first time to visit WDW in February - we usually go in October/November, with a couple of visits during the last week of Nov, first week of Dec (to see the holiday decorations after the crowds of Thanksgiving have departed and before the December crowds arrive !). The first week of February sounds like a terrific time to visit, and it coincided with my mom's birthday and a long weekend off from school for the kids . . . Can't wait !

We are going January 24 thru Feb 3.
We usually go the last week in October for my DD birthday, but we decided to try January this time. I hope there are very low crowds.

They are going to be there from Feb. 2-6. Here is a link to their web-site:

It shouldn't be too bad if you take a look at their schedule to see where they will be. I think there is only one day that they are on their own. We were there last year when they were there, and it wasn't bad at all. I didn't notice any of them at our resort, so that does help out a lot as well.

:banana: Hello fellow Disers! I am so excited! I just booked our trip for Feb2-9 on Monday. And today my travel agent emailed me the discount. Free hopping and waterparks plus a small room discount. We saved $103! :cool1:
This will be our first stay onsite. We are staying at AllStar Music. And we also got the dining plan. Can't wait! I even purchased our airline tickets with SW today. Got a great rate out of BWI too. $59 oneway. Three tickets for around $400. Plus we got one free ticket with my husbands Rapid Rewards. Thanks for letting me get excited here! :wave: Maybe I'll see some of you down there!

It varies, so you have to pack a lot of different types of clothing, such as jackets, long pants/jeans, capris, shorts, etc. Usually it is chilly in the early mornings and evenings. We don't mind the weather though, because usually during the day, it warms up nicely. Plus, we like it way better than high heat and humidity.

So, has anyone made any plans or ADR's for their trip, or are you just "winging" it this time? We're doing a little bit of both, I've made a few ADR's, (HDD,Le Cellier, Concourse) but for the most part we're just playing it by ear.

I reserved a fireworks cruise for my mom's birthday too. We've done this before, but never in February !

Of course, the boys are just a bit concerned about Super Bowl Sunday :cheer2: ; not being a big football fan though, I know where I'll be that evening !

I made all of our ADR's, this time we are going to Le Cellier, Narcoossee's, Capt. Jack's, Coral Reef, 'Ohana, and Kona Cafe. I also have an ADR for Crystal Palace for breakfast.

We never did a fireworks cruise, but I bet that is going to be great, hopefully not too cold for you. The nights could vary in Feb. Have a great time!!

We are total foodies and since my in-laws are coming along too, they want to eat EVERYWHERE (regardless that we are paying out of pocket for 4 TS meals--yes, we are on the DDP too). Here is my list of ADRs: Ohana's (Breakfast & Dinner), Nine Dragons, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch), Kona Cafe, Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Boma's, & Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre

POFQ stands for Port Orleans French Quarter resort. We will be at staying at the POP first week of Feb 2007 also!!!! We cant wait. This is our first time staying at POP.

Maybe we will see each other there!!

We're going Feb.10-18 (can I still post?) Staying at OKW. We usually go the first part of February. The weather is usually around 70 degrees during the day and 50-55 at night. Last year however the first 2 mornings we were there, the temps were in the mid to upper 20's!!!! Don't worry though, this was a record and VERY unusual. I've also seen it near 80 at this time of the year. I never had to wait longer than 20 mins. to get on a ride or a bus. Have fun and enjoy!
