Okay. When I went to the Dallas Dis Meet, Dan M hugged me like a long lost friend. It was a nice wonderful hug. :D :bounce: Is there anyone here who doesn't want a hug? I don't want to make anyone run off screaming into the night. Just let me know. :D

Well you are welcome to hug me :D

I guess when you get to know each other like we have, you have a tendency to really want to give someone a great big hug.

Dayna! I posed this question on the Community Board a while back. I never used to be a big hugger type person. It just wasn't something I was raised with. So, when we moved here-it seemed everybody hugged, no matter how long ago they had seen each other. Ok, I get it-it was nice. So now, I'm a hugger-giving and receiving, like Kim said. I agree, too, that it seems we already "know" each other and are sincerely happy to see each other, so a BIG HUG only seems appropriate. :D And, yes, Dan we do remember those big bear hugs! :)
There were a few people that responded to my post that do not like hugs, I just don't remember who they were!

I also feel like I already "know" a lot of people I have yet to meet in person, and I plan to do lots of hugging! I just hope the DH doesn't get bothered if he sees me hugging men!;)

Definately {{{Hugs}}}

We have waited so long for this and as a newbie, I feel like I know so many of you. It will be getting together with friends who have seen each other for a while. Not like strangers who have just met...

I'm a big hugger myself :) (Literally as well) BUT, Just a word of caution, neither are my girls are huggers to people they first meet. Now my 13 yr old blonde may be hugging before DIS CON is over, but my 17 year ild will not hug anyone except maybe a few of the younger children that will undoubtedly flock to her if given a chance :)

Dan, of course we remember your hugs. Alan is a big man just like Dan. It's a nice, safe feeling, warmhearted hug. :D

Gerri, Thanks for letting us know about your DDs. I want everyone to have the best experience. :)
