DVC DCL Onboard Booking Discount

Hi,

I have quite a few reservation points that I must use by February 06. I am thinking of using them for a 3 day cruise. I'll be on DCL next month and am hoping for a discount. I know that they offer an onboard rebooking discount for cash; is this also offered for using points? If so, does anyone know what it is? I tried calling member services but they didn't seem to know :confused3 .

yes they offer a discount on points. if you are doing points you cannot rebook on the cruise you have to rebook within 3 working days on when your cruise ended. i dont know hwre the paper i got that tells you how many points off. a lot of people will say you get 10 percent off you do not get 10 percent off ,sometimes you will get more sometimes you will get less. i do remember that a cruise at the first week of february for a 7 night cruise you will save 29 poinbts per person for a cat 11. but for the better categories you will save less per person. also the busy times you will save less per person.
