View Full Version : Shampoo, soap, etc. Do you bring this stuff?
Do you pack shampoos, etc. or just use what they give you? What do they give you at HRH?

I always bring my own shampoo. But HRH does have shampoo, conditioner, soap and hairdryers and maybe mouthwash. It was really neat, on the vanity, they had cotton balls and Q-tips in a dish.....that was a nice touch.

HRH gives you all your soaps, shampoo, conditioner in small travel sizes. They refill it daily though. I always have my kids and hubby use their stuff - they are not picky. I usually bring my own supply, but may just cut back on that with the new carry-on rules.

We actually had a VERY hard time getting housekeeping to restock our shampoo supply. Turns out the supply on every single housekeeping cart on our floor had run out - so for 2 days the housekeeper's solution was to just give us extra hand cream and conditioner. It took about 4 calls and hunting down a housekeeping manager before they finally decided to give us more shampoo.

i use what is provided by the hotel except the qtips. i prefer the name brand not generic.
the soaps, lotions, tissues, shampoos, conditioners are good.
i always request extra conditioners as i have waist length hair and one little bottle is not enough for me. i do bring my own conditioner on most trips but if i am running low (i stay in orlando 14 days a trip) i use what is provided in the room.
i have never in 12 stays had any issues with my requests of additional supplies.
if a cart runs out, call star service on your phone and you will have what you want delivered to your room. let them know that the housekeeper said she was out of what you needed. it will be taken care of.
i really like how they greet me when i call star..........
they know who you are and where you are.........spooky....... :teeth:
when people post of bad experiences, i believe them.
for me if that would happen, i would call for the manager and not let it even get to be a problem for me.
for what i pay, i do expect the services that are provided to all guests.
doesn't matter if you have discounts or not, all guests should receive the same 4 star treatment.
