DH just bought me a new camcorder last Xmas and it's great... now instead of taking 8-10 60 min tapes ( as I had to with the old one ) now I only have to take 4(I get between 3&4 hours recording time on each! :sunny:

I'd also like to know what camcorder you have because my mini DV only gets 60 or 90 mins. To th OP 10 60 min tapes should be plenty.

Depends how much you plan on filming really.I allowed approx 30 mins for each show i wanted to record, then an extra 2 hours for any other snipits that might crop up.

I think if you asked a dozen people how much video they shot at WDW, you'd get a dozen different answers.

How many days? Do you just record shows? Parades? Rides? Family? When you shoot, do you keep the camera on for the entire activity or do you turn it on to record a snippet and then off again for a while?

10 60 minutes tapes is almost 600 minutes of footage. That's a lot by the standards of just about everyone I know for a trip. Plan on spending a whole lot time editing.
