Illuminations Dessert Party

I'm doing the dessert party after my wedding. I want to decorate the tables to make them more "personal"...So I have a few questions...Oh, btw it's going to be at Morroco.

1. Will they let you decorate?
2.How many tables are there?
3.What all do they provide (eg. table clothes, etc.)
4. Could I do napkins, seat cards, etc?

Does anyone have any pictures? Anyone else decorate when they had a party? What did you do to decorate?

You are not allowed to use an outside vendor inside any of the parks, so im not sure whether they would let you do a great deal yourself.

The will provide standard black or white table linens free of charge.

Im sure that disney will let you make a few things and then you can give them to your wedding planner to place on the tables! remember that they do charge if there are over 3 things per place setting!

I was told I could bring a few things and have someone put then out for me. I really would love to see some pics of the area it is, too though.

Yes you can have them place decorations. I used simple candle holders & gave them to my EM.

We had our party at Lower UK and had 5 tables.
3.What all do they provide (eg. table clothes, etc.)
We had white table cloths that they placed a lantern on. Very simple, very pretty.
4. Could I do napkins, seat cards, etc?
I don't think it was that formal for seat cards, we had benches and some guests sat there, some stood up & just mingled. Naplins would be a nice touch. Just remember it's about 1-1.5 hrs tops. I wouldn't go crazy with floral or lighting or decorating. Illuminations and the desserts are the main showpieces. Make sure you get tuxedo strawberries!

i brought my own items for our dessert party which i gave to my em to have set up at epcot. our dp was at uk lower custom wedding. heres a photo of the decor items we had fish cylinders with candles lit inside & glow sticks for everyone. and everyone seated at our dp snacking. we had 6 tables set up with the free black linens.

the dessert party was awesome. i loved the memories of that evening, the photos & the wows from our guests who still rave about it.

We are going to have our DP in Morroco and have been told that the only tables that are allowed are two high-boys and no seating. They are pretty small, so you may not have too much space for additional decorations.
