OT, saw an antique today. 1974 GMC SUB

It was so ugly that it was cute. It looked to be in great shape. I wish that I had the money to buy it and update the interior. I read that they get about 15 MPG! The seller gave me her phone number, but it's not something that we are really interested in. I read that they only made a total of about 13,000 of these RV's from 1973 to 1978.

Sometimes, you find the neatest things when you go to yard sales. Maggie

Whoever told you that a 74 Suburban got 15 mpg must have had some nostalgia stuck in their eyes :lmao:

It was probably more like 10 mpg. :thumbsup2

The older Subs have become very popular over the last few years, we see a lot of restored ones at car shows.
