For the last month, I've been exercising daily and trying to manage the amount of calories per day I would take in.
Starting tomorrow, I'm starting a whole new diet: Slimfast
I have a cannister of powder to mix into my milk, which I'm going to do twice daily instead of meals with sensible snacks in between and a sensible dinner. :)
I've noticed that one pair of shorts that once fit snugly (not tight, but snug) are now so big I can put them on, zip them up and then pull them off again without bothering to unzip them. I'm getting there with my favorite pair of jeans, so I must be doing SOMETHING right. :thumbsup2
I finally decided I had to get into better shape and lose weight after we went to Six Flags in August. I love rollercoasters and climbing several flights of stairs to reach the top on most of them had me extremely winded. :( I also rode the Texas Giant a couple of times and my butt was nearly too big to fit into the seat. So I knew I had to lose weight or risk not being able to ride my favorite rollercoaster the next time I go to Six Flags.
I also decided to do it for DS, because at age 2 1/2 he's extremely active and I have to be able to keep up with him.
