It's Park themed Mickey sets! I got so excited when I saw these:
(Scroll down a tiny bit past primas)
Coming soon (http://www.bargainpack.com/comingproduct.htm)
I think I'm going to need all of them!
There are also a ton of new products already available from the movie characters - New Toy Story stuff, Nemo, Incredibles, more Little Mermaid, etc. And what seemed to be some new T-Shirts. Those are on the main page of Bargain Pack.
See, now don't you think this is the sort of stuff they should be selling in the parks?

Those are so cool! Maybe it will inspire me to complete a few more LO's. I've only finished up the three that I had on my mind when we left WDW in June. I haven't given much thought as to what I want to scrap next, there's just so many photos to sift through.

I soooo agree with you - I NEED them all too (no such thing as want in scrapbooking, it's always NEED!!!!)
I'm also waiting for the new Disney idea book to hit the stores/web too.
We don't go for another 14 months but I already have a box where I put all the bits I keep buying in preparation! :)

Well it's about darned time EK came out with some theme park stuff, but I'm wondering if Disney forked over the licensing or if EK has just made some stuff that will obviously GO with theme park attractions, but they don't really have the licensing for the actual logos and ride names?
I mean, I LOVE the Haunted House Mickey, but it isn't actually the Haunted Mansion, and Space Mickey is very cool, but it doesn't say Mission Space or anything. Safari Mickey will be perfect for an AK page, but notice, no Tree of Life of any AK logo, ect....KWIM?
WHY oh, WHY can't Disney figure out people WANT this stuff and they will buy TONS of it if only someone would make it!!!! They make every pin you could ever think of and then some, but they can't come out with a GOOD theme park scrapbooking line?! :confused3

Lisa,
EK does have the licensing to make Disney items. If you look at all the other Disney items EK has made it does say certain things (Incredibles, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Monter's Inc, It's a small world etc). When I placed my order with EK for my store I was thinking the same thing you are BUT then I came to the decision the reason it doesn't say Mission Space is so you can use it on Space Mountain, the reason Safari Mickey doesn't say Jungle Cruise is so you can use it for Animal Kingdom pages or Indiana Jones pages. The reason it is haunted house instead of the haunted mansion is so you can use it for any haunted house theme (halloween, the haunted mansion in Disney etc.). this is my opinion only I'm not sure why they do what they do but I came up with this and it seemed to satisfy me :rotfl2: . Hope I helped

I realize EK has licensing from Disney (thank goodness!) but I don't think they have licensing for everything. Disney has tons of differenent licensing, one license doesn't cover everything Disney. Maybe they just have character licensing, but not for theme park logos. I understand what you are saying about safari Mickey being useable for different things and Space Mickey being useable for Space Mountain and Mission Space, but I really think if EK was able to they would come out with a Jolee's of the Tree of Life, Tower of Terror, Test Track, the MGM Studios hat ect, ect....

I think so too BUT how can they drive us nutz if they design everything at once LOL
I think they are doing just that but they are doing a little at a time to keep it interesting LOL

I agree with ImaDizneyNut, and think it actually goes a step further than that.
Look at the Capture the Magic kits. Yes, there are some logo papers and a few special ones, but even the ones sold in the parks (like the Halloween and Christmas ones) aren't just meant for theme park scrapping - they want them to appeal to people who simply want to, say, do their Christmas pictures from home with a Disney theme and they don't tie them in to, say, the MVMCP in particular.
I also agree, I would prefer more park-oriented stuff. I guess Disney would just rather appeal to the larger scrapbook market, and not just people who are part of the theme park scrapping subset of the possible customers. I've finished about 20 pages at this point, and I'm only interested in Disney stuff and scrapping the parks and rides (just finished a LO with the interior of Splash, doing Snow White's Scary Adv next).
Here's hoping for more park specific stuff...

I would be happy if they would even just offer the park oriented stuff in the PARKS...I mean, seriously, if you scrapbook and you are AT Disney, you are going to BUY park orientated stuff! It just amazes
me that Disney doesn't get this. Thank goodness for postcards, I buy tons of those to use in my scrapbooks!
I scope out scrapping websites galleries from time to time and if you search Disney layouts that are posted, MOST about about trips to Disney. Yes, there are Christmas and Halloween ones, ect...but there are tons of trip layouts (I love looking at those! :goodvibes)

Oh, *I* agree with you, LOL, but I'm just looking at it from the point of view of the marketing guy who's making these decisions, who probably doesn't know a piece of vellum from wax paper.
To him/her ("random marketing person"), when they select, say, what is included in the Halloween "Capture the Magic" kit, they think : "hmmm...if we brand this all with MNSSHP logos, we'll only sell it for those few five hour periods the party is open, but if we make it generic Halloween, many more people will have the opportunity and will to buy it".
It does surprise me, though, that you can buy a half-dozen pins of each ride for $7-9 bucks, when stickers and such (which I'm sure are cheaper to produce) could be sold for $6-7 at each ride with the logos, etc., and they'd sell like hotcakes. People pay $5 for the EK stickers in the stores, they'd pay a few bucks more for ride-specific ones. (Although I couldn't afford many of them, LOL.)

I often use pins, keyrings, fridge magnets, patches etc on my layouts. If you look around (not just at Disney) you can often see souviners that can be 'adapted' to use as embellishments on pages, and often cheaper and better than official scrapbook items - just make sure that they don't actually touch your photo's if you're precious about acid etc.

It was at a local scrapbook store (only one location), not at a chain. But I would bet they'll start showing up at Michaels soon :) If I see them there I'll post a note ~~
